as title says
I thought it was Samurai pizza cats and sailor moon ..but just found out a old show I watched is in fact called the Noozles is a anime so that would be the 1st ever anime I saw
What was the first anime you ever watched?
-
-
Digimon,i did saw Pokemon but i didn't like it Digimon is more better
-
Technically, I guess you could say it was Estiban and the Cities of Gold waaaay back on Nickleodeon (loved that show), or even possibly the first run of Transformers (loved that one, too). But the first anime I watched while being aware of is as an anime would be Slayers. (Okay, I saw some Sailor Moon first, but I never actively watched it.)
-
Probably Voltron.
-
Oh, considering I was living in Japan when I was young, probably something like Sazae-san or Doraemon, possibly Sailor moon.
-
I'd say DBZ at first. But I remember hearing somewhere that this one show I watched back when I was 3 or 4 was an anime. Little Bits I think.
-
It was either Voltron, Samurai Pizza Cats or Sailor Moon, Though i'm pretty sure it was sailor moon.
-
DBZ back in the day.
-
Tales From Moominvalley, I suppose. If you can count it as an anime.
-
Probably Goldorak/Grendizer, as most of the french kids now in their mid 20's/30's.
-
voltes v (it was being re-aired then) and sailormoon
-
Like cr4zy, my first anime was Dragonball Z back in the day, when it was out of syndication and in its first run on Toonami, it must have been 98 or 99. God, typing this makes me feel so damn old as an anime fan, on the other hand I did get to see and hear brian drummond scream 9000!! during broadcast, he was a much better Vegeta than Chris Sabat could ever be.
-
Heh, doesn't look like we've gone far back enough.
Adventures of the Little Koala, waaaay back when it was on Nick Jr.
-
Voltron Defender of the Universe
insert cheesy synth fanfare -
Rurouni Kenshin was probably the first anime I watched.
-
Akira or Vampire Hunter D.
-
Ahhh~ I can't remember what it was…
I remember the first anime I got really into was Ranma ½. But DBZ was also a show that I remember watching a long time ago as well. My grandmother is Japanese, and a long time ago, her brother sent her a few anime show video tapes once in a while, like Astroboy, a wierd anime Jungle Book type thing, and stuff like that. Arg, I am not sure. I will just go with Ranma.
-
Sailor Moon, DB/DBZ, Digimon, Pokemon
can't remember what came 1st / was too busy into TMNT and GI Joe to care most of time
-
Voltron I would say. Or maybe Transformers.
DBZ was the first I saw knowing that it was anime though. and I can thank Rurouni Kenshin for getting me into manga.
-
Ronin warriors (Yoroiden-Samurai Troopers) in 1995 (dub version…) when I was about 7 then i watched pokemon and dbz...
-
cat's eyes or goldorak. or astroboy. i don't really remember, i was something like 5yo.
-
Of course, I watched Transformers & Voltron when I was 5, but I think the first actual "Japanimation" I saw was Robotech/Macross back in like '85. My cousin always had subbed anime on VHS, so we'd play Game Boy & watch anime when I went over to his house. Other shows he introduced me to were Ranma 1/2, Ronin Warriors, & Akira (the Streamline Dub). Ah, how I miss the "Old School"…
-
Hakushon Daimao, an old anime which aired here in the 80's renamed to "The Crazy Genius", that made me laugh a lot when i was a kid.
IIRC it was adapted (and destroyed) by Saban years later, becoming "Bob the Genius" or something awful like that.
But the first i watched aware of being anime is Akira, probably. -
I remember watching some of Saban's dubs on Nick Jr. when I was 4 or 5. But I had no idea what anime was back then. The first ones I saw, knowing what anime was were Pokemon and Sailor Moon.
