TMNT Anime series?

I seen the 80s show…next mutation... the 90's episodes.. a few of the 4Kids episodes..but none of them compare to this...

Yes there was a anime of the Ninja turtles mutating into more mutant/humanoid turtles..this actually looks cool!

It's not really a series, but a 2-part ova released in 96 called "Superman Legend".
Fansub group Spork released both some time ago, it's not hard to find…i couldn't stand it for more than 5 minutes, so try at your own risk

I watched the first part of the OVA some time back, and I agree with the general sentiment that its basically full of almost every cookie cutter Japanese animation action cliche you can think of. Some of the subtitleing is full of some of the cheesiest dialogue you can imagine. The word "turtle saint" still cracks me up though.

Meh, they just need to bring back the 2003 one. That was easily the best TMNT series I've ever seen.

The first half of Season 1 of TMNT 2k3 comes out in May in a 2 disc set. I guess 4kids finally make a choice to release Ninja Turtles in half season sets. I'm planning to get this since I want to replace my blank tapes of TMNT 2k3 with the dvd verison.

WTF at the Super Mutation and Saint Turtle. Bebop and Rocksteady were the only ones the looked decent enough for me not to gag.

Um I think u got it the wrong way round; first the TMNT anime, THEN PPG.
Speaking of which I think this OVA is still on sale in a shop somewhere I'm living at. Though I don't think I'd ever purchase the thing….
