Deepest Apologies from Staff

Yes, it was a big mess. Was it a joke? Yes and no. As you may notice, it's not April 1 yet. We were planning on gradually working towards something up until April 1, but Griffin went a little too far too fast – too much that some of staff did panic. However, he did keep his promise, so nothing on the board was really lost. They were just hidden. Nobody was permanantly banned, and hopefully everything has returned to normal.

Some people did take advantage of the situation and had a bit of fun. Others just thought it was lame, and a few were really horrified at the thought that AP was really hacked. For those who were really disturbed by this madness, we extend our sincere apologies. For those who offered up your help to hack the site, thank you very much. A little glad that none of you were successful though.

Please know that AP would never give power to a person who would seriously usurp out authority and destroy the board. And also, this will never happen again.

ok, now seriosly, ya, it was a lame joke, but you gotta admit, a lot of us had fun running amuck for a day in the chaos, and we got to see zelph in action.

Griffin did get carried away, but it wasn't all his fault. He was "technically doing what he was told" he just got carried away. I'm sure we've all got carried away before. I mean, he had super modly powers. Who wouldn't get carried away. And I didn't see griffin be very mean to anyone either. I've seen normal users, on a normal day, ruder than him. So, don't get upset at him being mean.

I'd just like to say, I didn't know what to think. Ya, it was just too convenient, yet, as ocean said, even some of the staff were starting to sweat. That was genuine, so it made me dout it was a joke at the same time. Though, I do say, if griffen made, even the staff sweat, he did something right XD he got them good too.

The Zephos strip is the only thing that should be saved from that trainwreck. The rest was painfully unfunny after 15 minutes of that shit and was just mindless postwhoring that painted AP and its staff in a pretty pathetic light.

And yeah, I won't trust you guys for awhile unless you make it up to us. You see, for the joke to work right, you have to be able to keep things under control. If you want even some advice on how this could have gone 100% smoother, just ask me, and I'll tell you a few obvious things that went wrong, causing Griffin to pull a Mikami(from Death Note) and…well if you read Death Note you'll understand. He did the exact same thing, his mindset rapidly became much different from yours and he acted without thinking properly.
