Usopp gadgets

I was trying to find all Usopp gadgets (not ammo or dials) that he used over the saga. Can someone help me? These are those that I can remember:

That grappling hook he used in Skypiea
Those octopus-feet he uses to climb walls (used to climb Maxim and to walk the outside walls of Puffing Tom)
Jumping boots (used to jump off Maxim, carrying Sanji with him)
Usopp Pound (used in his battle against Mr. 4 and Ms. MC)
Smoke screem used to escape CP9 in Puffing Tom.

Has he used anything else of his own creation?

With his Sogeking persona, I am thinking that Usopp will begin to use all those and other gadgets in order to strengthen his super-hero persona (much like Batman uses to make impressive feats).

He made those diving suits out of barrels for Sanji, Zoro and Luffy, when they went underwater to investigate the ship that fell from the sky. Do those count?

I think they count as proof of his resoucefulness (sp).
But I'm trying to find other portable devices that he may use to augment his weak physical abilities.

Are we counting the ones he's made, or the one he uses?
Because I suppose you could count the Climatact in the 'made' character.

but he somehow launched the shurikens from his slingshot, so that might count as ammo as well.

The shurikens were tied together in a string, then seperated upon launch. T'was called Hissatsu: Shuriken Meteor Swarm [or something like that].

Can't think of any gadgets that you didn't list, though.

Well, we can count the kabuto, yes. I did not count it because we do not know what else can that thing do.

Intro arc: Kaltrops, panchinko, explode star.

Kreig: Nada.

Arlong: A hammer smokescreen, and rubberband.

Alabasta: Signal flare, chalkboard, Usopp Pounder.

Skypiea: Grappling hook (Usopp AHh!), spring shoes, octopus shoes.

Enies Lobby: Kabuto and dials.

I…think that's most of them, skipping some of the dial/not gadget moves. The "gadgets" are highlights since I listed them by memory.

Thanks, One Moment! That signal flare "Red Snake Star" was cool and I totally forgot that. But I think the chalkboard (Usopp Noise) is just comic relief. =]

I know you probably meant that as a joke but ever since Sogeking got introduced I thought of Usopp putting that so far in the future that his whole body will be covered in some sort of indestructable amo. Kinda like Iron-Man who by himself is not very strong but with the right amo belongs to the strongest of the Marvel superheroes.

I mean all those dials and the alter ego would make it possible to have two completely different guys at the end. So far Usopp and Sogeking are almost the same except that the size of their weapons is different. I wonder if that is some sort of subtle message about superheroes having the larger…well whatever.

in the kuro arc he used some sort of liquid (i don't remember what is was exactly) to stop kuro's crew to climb (but zorro got stuck in it).

I agree. Since Sogeking appeared, it seems that Oda plans to maintain Usopp a "weakling" by bolstering his Sogeking persona. So, while Usopp is cowardly and weak, Sogeking is full of resources and fakes bravery.

However, I do not think he will get an armor, though I may be wrong. I think he will use more and more gadgets, more like Batman or Blue Beetle than Iron Man or Steel.

Yeah, that´s actually even better. I´d really to see him to get actually strong with gadgets and everything as Sogeking (in a manner like he fought against Luffy) and still remains the Usopp he is to make him realise at the end that all those gadgets etc. he uses as Sogeking only make him that much better because he, the person that Usopp is, knows how to use them.

But to have that conflict and solution Sogeking and Usopp need to act different in a fight, otherwise there´d be no point for comparing the two with each other.

But if/when he does get a gun, it'll be a signal that he's a man. A big strong man.

I see this as the best reason for Usopp to get a gun. Not cause it's a "better weapon" but because of some coming of age experience.

It's been shown that Usopp's slingshot is more powerful they the average gun several times. That and, I'm not convinced that Usopp has the technical skill to make a gun that's stronger then his Kabuto right now.

I mean, the "Usopp needs a gun!" arguments are kind of lame, since they're all based on the idea that Usopp will kick more ass with a gun. It's like saying that "Zoro should have a gun!" since guns are inheritly superior weapons to swords. Every see Japanese history? Guns > Swords in reality. Of course, that's not where One Piece takes place.

I think usopp next upgrade will be sling too, since sling oredi usopp's trademark. from enies lobby arc usopp aready shown slingshot effectiveness. (navy bullet cant even reach usopp) in future usopp will have to prove that his sling - kabuto or upgrade version sling will own any sharp shooter that using gun. if not he wont deserve to be future pirate king's sharp shooter.

Weather or not its a shield or not, well, it doesnt look like much a shield.

I don't think he ever will because he doesn't need to. He's already proficient enough with the slingshot that using a gun would a step down for him.

I answerd that it looks like Air bags, not a shield. But yes it was on page 5.

It doesnt look like a storage bag either.

I hope we get to see it later on in the arc.

Are you serious? This is so his storage bag. Perhaps you should check a bigger picture but you can clearly see that it is the same bag he carries around ever since he first appeared in the story. Furthermore you can see that the bag´s belt is connected to his upper body and on top of that on the far right you can see a seam.

Is it possible to absorb a cut? I'm just wondering cuz iono i'd just think it'd cut the dial in half. If it is his bag that'd make since so he could have just taken whatever he could get out like the impact dial too though.

No, it would absorb the sword. The sword would just stop as soon as it touches.

No problem, if that´s really the only size you had then it really is hard to see since especially the part above his right thumb makes the whole thing appear as if it was something else.

I'm still waiting for the Usopp & Nami Killer Combo: 8000 Snipers. By combining Nami's Fata Morgana mirage technique with Usopp's mad sniping skillz, the effect against the enemy would be devastating. Plus, it's the quickest way to see Usopp get his eight thousand followers.
