This is a thread mostly for our womans here… So my question is... What do you think about his personality... Is he more a gentleman or just a playa?
I can't tell it cause I am a man but for me it seems that he is very gentle like even if he watched other girls...
I took Sanji for this cause for me he is the only one with a sexuality... Zoro or Luffy seem really asexual...

Well…I think he's a gentleman, but a slightly perverted one. He just loves women; the way they're shaped, the way they smell, etc.
He's not really a "player" or anything, IMO. He hasn't pulled any moves on Nami or Robin, so.
I don't call him pevert… As a man I can say that there is not one man outside here on the world, who doesn't want to see naked beauties... even the highest gentleman would like to taka a look...
I think it was well shown in Little Garden where Nami was just with her bra... Ok Sanji take a look but who wont??? He still gave her his jacket which was gentle... They aren't that many boys out there... who thinks about girls like that...
True. I think "perverted-ness" actually is the measure of how much they want to see stuff like that, and also how much a man admits he wants to see it or act upon it. Because really, it's natural that they love girls' figures.

No, Jeff kept getting pissed off at him because Sanji was slacking off, flirting with girls. Jeff never showed a hint of being interested in girls at the time.
So I hope for an other flashback… but I don't think that it came from Jeff...

Sanji's a loser of epic proportion posing as a womanizer while his lifelong love is a greenhaired sociopath of dubious gender. Sanji's a 19-year-old guy who grew up on a ship full of sweaty, stinky, rude, hairy ex-pirates and is obviously a flaming virgin. He loves women, loves the idea of them, and has very, very decisive gender role ideas. It's not that he hates men, he just doesn't think many of the ones he knows measure up to his notion of what a man should be, and he doesn't know how to relate to them in any way except hostility and competetive machismo since that's what he was raised with. Basically, he's a goober with crazy hormones, an almost pathological love of women, and a very firm set of principles he tries to live by.

Sanji's childhood involved hanging out with a bunch of other guy cooks that also happen to be pirates. So obviously his REAL DREAM is to try to be more of a player than Zeff. Its obvious that Zeff got all the girls in his day and never taught Sanji any of his super secret moves, so he had to rely on Patty's moves, and everyone knows Patty is secretly gay. This explains his homosexual behavior.

About my opinion on Sanji, he is a more like a perverted with principles rather than a twisted gentleman.
Honestly, I thought of Sanji as an overcompensator pretty much from day 1. "I've got inner gay feelings, so I'm going to act rod-straight to bury them".
I don't think he ever tries to be deliberately perverse, in the way Brooke does, but I think he may come off as excessively clutchy due to his over-emphasized romantic behaviour.
He probably strives to be a gentleman but loses it whenever a woman comes along, although he probably secretly longs, desperately, to be with a hot male. You think he was really fighting back when Kuroobi clutched him and held him tight? :D

I don't think it's necessarily bashing.
Speculating about a character's inner romantic feelings is not inherently an assault on him.
Wether he's trying to compensate would play a role in if his behaviour is gentlemanly or perverse. If he doesn't actually really want to get inside a woman's pants, in spite of his behaviours, there will be an inherent limit on how gross he gets.
Conversely, I could see him being more easily coerced to something really gross, like rape, if he was put in a position where it was the alternative to expressing his true feelings.
