i think this arc is not going to be a long one..probably just a short one like the previous arc where luffy and his crew were fighting the Nero beam dude.. the enemies dont look strong in the first place..and its more like luffy's crew gonna own them bad…maybe the ghosts and moria has home advantage, other than that there's no way they can lose..just imagine CP9 kicking Thriller park crrew! ㅋㅋ

And after sleeping a night over it, I really like Urians idea that he´s a giant monkey. At least his teeth are the same shape as Masira´s.
Predicting stuff like that is always a toughie so I´m not betting any money on anything. But I tend towards expecting that Moria is not like the giants we´ve seen before otherwise his face would have been revealed. I´m sure that Oda did that on purpose for having yet another DON-revelation. It´s already a DON to see Moria to be a giant, but when we see that he´s not a normal giant then it would be yet another DON-scene so that´s perhaps the reason why we didn´t get the face now. No matter if he´s a giant brat, a giant monkey, maybe even both or something completely different.

Lets see, not counting the unnamed cannonfodder, we have:

Dr. Hogback
"The Guardian" (who appears to be related to Brook in some way)
"Graveyard", "Pervsalom" Absalom
"Ghost Princess" Perona
Hildon
Victoria Cindry (not sure if she counts as a villain though).
And "Mario[nette]" (Hogback's latest creation)So we have 7-8 Bad guys (+cannonfodder) vs 8-9 Strawhats, seems fair.

Don't forget the "zombie generals" and other unique characters:
-kumacy: the giant teddy bear servant of perona with an unusually deep voice.
-Nin and the other two runts: the weird looking creatures of indeterminate size that woke up moria
-The carriage "horses": The jackal rider and the centaur.There are also the hordes of zombies:
-Surprise and wild zombies: including a boxing kangaroo and a buff zombie pandaman.
-Zombie soldiers: including regular zombie pandaman and bunny ear guy.
-Mansion decoration zombie: led by Buhichuck the pig head and including the portrait zombies and the bear rug.With this great number of enemies, certain strawhats are likely going to fight teams of baddies instead of the standard one on one fights. Maybe Oda got a lot of positive feedback about the Buster Call melee and decided to outnumber the strawhats more often to handicap them a bit.

Ok as promised here the little "surgery" on Absalom and the lion. I know that we already had similar images here but these are different because I just replaced the snout with nose and mouth and vice versa. The eyes weren´t switched.

Brooke was never mentioned as being an enemy of the SH's. Brooke stated that he would face Moria and try to have his shadow returned to him. The bodygaurd seem's to be Brooke but only time will tell if that really is him or not.

Anyone think Brooke and the Guardian have similar laughs because the Guardian is a zombie made using PARTS from Brooke? Which is why only his skeleton was left when he found his body?
Also from this chapter it seems Absolom and Perona are going to have a small zombie army backing them each up. Perona has zombie animals and Abs has zombie people…
Also, it's a children's comic from Japan.

I know that he wasn´t mentioned to be an enemy within the story, what I meant is how people could take him for an antagonist after the portrayal that was given to him.

Agreed, Brooke's debut showed him as an adversary to Moria. Brooke was also talking about Moria to the SH crew, about his shadow being stolen.
I know the bodygaurd is not said to be Brooke, just that it is not said that he isn't. Anything is possible, Brooke is the only one who displayed that laugh and even greeted Ussopp and Nami as a gentlemen by saying "Good day."
My point, Don't be surprised if that is Brooke.

About the colorspread, Is Luffy picking is his nose there?
This looks like a Little Garden Drum Arc for me. Maybe no one-one-one fights but something that happened with a teamwork like in LG.
And thank God Gecko is not the Guardian.
From what I can see:
-The frankenstein Hogback is creating is actually Ace(j/k).
-Gecko eats shadows for breakfast. Does he digest them? Probably not because the shadows can be taken back. If we also look back to the previous chapter where Usopp's team saw the animal zombies and screamed prey when they left. The Strawhats would be so Gecko's next menu.
-It's possible that Brooke's ability is transferring to another body. Where did he left teh bones though?
-Shadow, invisibilty and ghost and bat fruit are likely to appear.
-The three Humpty Dumpty loooking creatures that talked to Gecko got a sword, bow and the other one unknown as their weapon. I sense other people will say Zoro would get that sword. Yeah I'm one of them.
-V/P/Berona's parasol was modeled after GeckoAlso, those who are taken their shadows has a weakness of fire and/or extreme heat. Maybe only the mysterious four has still their shadows in them.
Btw, do the zombies Absalom is talking the same zombies we see before? I like the one with the "IAM HEALTHY" shirt.

Ah, so Toshiya spotted zombie Pandaman first
(look below Perona). As to Brook, I think the clue we get that it may be the samurai guard is the foot wear. Looks like Oda is having a lot of fun with this one. The zombie army opens up a whole slew of possibilities for drawing material. Love Moria's pirate symbol too. -

a dragon in the background
what i don't like about the color spread that only Luffy,Zoro,Nami are in it plus a dragonit will better if Franky,Chopper,or Brook appear
now for the chapter seeing what Absalom looks like,more Hogback,Moria, the goth girl,Franky crying XD,and zombie Pandaman. I hope Brook appears in 450 -
I actually found it interesting that only three of the strawhats were in the colorspread. It's sort of different that way. I hope to see more colorspreads like that in the future.

I don't know if anyone has said that yet but the swordsman/bodyguard could be brooke's stolen shadow (turned into a living being). Could be the reason why Moria steals them.
Also, I love Nami's dress in this spread.
