this is an awesome manga, maybe better then the anime, so much more in it then the anime…. I actually didn't bother reading the manga at first, because I though "well it's going to be like the anime, so I'm not gonna bother" but once I started reading the manga, I couldn't put it down
anybody else wanna put in there two cents?
It's a good manga. The last few chapters have been kinda slow (though this month's, if dialogue heavy, was interesting). I find myself a little worried if the series is gonna continue on as good as it's been (I have a really hard time seeing where it's going, and there are a LOT of disparate plot threads at the moment), but overall, it's a great read.
I can't remember where I left off, but I think it was a little after or before the split. What I really like in the manga is….. Beware of Spoilers.....
How Hughes died. I felt it was a lot more dramatic, tense, etc. than the anime version.

Yeah, the manga is pretty good. One of my favourites. And if I do recall, I don't think anyone has licensed it yet, right?
EDIT: Oh interesting. Learned two things today. Thanks for the tip Zio. I'll fix that now (I'm still used to GFAQs style of things I guess).
The FMA manga series is 10 times better than the anime. Barry the Chopper and Yoki get bigger parts, there is alot more humor, the omakes after certain chapters are hilarious, there are some original characters, Wrath isn't a whiny little pansy like in the anime, the origin of the homunculous is different…I could go on and on but I stop with those reasons.
It's a great manga series, go read it.
Edit: Viz snapped up the rights for the manga, or so the story goes. And Rasengan Zero, you can just use white text to list spoilers.
I'm with you there Zio, the anime over coplicates things at times where as the manga just clips right along without becoming boring (for me anyway). If Iahd to recomend one of the two, it would be the manga by a mile.

It's more of a story focused shounen comic. I like it, although like Captain Panda said it hasn't been as it's best lately but there're some interesting up coming events. Come to think of it has this month chapter came out yet, is it #44 ?

Yeah, 44's this month's chapter, and it's out (raw, at least, and I think translated too, though I only follow the raw releases for FMA).
Yeah, where is CH 44 >> (Havent seen it around at Anime-souce) nor do I see it at the forums posted above <<
