OK, I'm not even sure where to start. I've had problems with movie maker for a while now. I can't seem to import anime into it. I just downloaded episode 298 of OP (Raw) and tried to import it. I then got this message:

The file C:[S^M] ONE PIECE 298 RAW.avi cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again.

I had ACE Mega Codec Pack 6.03 - Professional Edition in order to watch downloaded and subbed anime and what not. But when I tried to put subbed anime into Movie Maker and try to use the program, ACE Mega Codec Pack 6.03 - Professional Edition would really get in the way and make things go slow or freeze. It also made it so sometimes I couldn't see anything on the screen when I tried playing what was on my storyboard. So I deleted it and figured that I could put raw anime on there without a problem (I was wrong). All I want to do is be able to put raw anime on there to make AMVs. If anyone can help me, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

Hmm, first I would make sure you have the option in WMM to say "Download codecs automatically"

If that doesn't work, use VirtualDubMod (if you have to use Directshowsource) to get it in, change it to another codec and it should work.

If you know nothing about VDubmod, I'll describe it in a bit more detail later.

Well, most people download the K-lite codec pack and things usually work out for them in WMM. But you have to make sure to uninstall other codec packs you have, otherwise it makes the problem worse.
