Not much has happened this chapter, but it's kinda interesting that despite Near being the L Jr. of the two, it seems Mello loved the guy a hell of a lot more. Near is so… L Lite. Here's hoping that we [continue to] get more Mello than Near.
Edit: Forgot to add that Misa has proven to still be as hot as ever in the one frame we actually see her in this chapter.

Light is a bastard. Pure unadulterated bastard. Why do I say that when, in this chapter, he didn't do anything notably evil? Because he's got Misa, and I've got nothing. For that, he must burn like the bastard he is.
On a less "haven't had a date in 3 years"-heavy note, Mello is TOTALLY ****ING EVIL. Honestly, while I'm rooting for Near this time around, if it game between Light and Mello, I'd actually have to say I want Light to win.

I just reread this series for the third time and it's safe to say that Light made some TERRIBLE decisions throughout the manga. I hate him.
