Yeah that's another odd one, the search feature only works on the Arlong Park: One Piece fansite page. Whenever I try to click on the search icon when I'm browsing a subforum it does nothing.
Problem with the Forums

-
don
t know when i go the first time on a day the page seems to be okay….but the second and everytime else it
s just like before.....still problems and also can`t refresh it.. -
People with the problem:
How about diabling the sigs, and put only 5 posts per thread?
It might be a little annoying but you can use that. -
@Rai:
People with the problem:
How about diabling the sigs, and put only 5 posts per thread?
It might be a little annoying but you can use that.Well, I've had signatures disabled and 5 posts per page since the problems began, but it doesn't help when you are trying to view sub-forums and all that.
Oh, and refreshing hasn't worked for me a single time. I once refreshed about 20 times in a row just to make sure. Also, no matter which computer I use, the pages cut off at the exact same spot without variation.
I'm not really bothered by it, but I've been browsing the forum a lot less lately since I can't view past the most recent posts in subforums.
-
I too am having a problem with only loading so many posts per page and never getting the bottom of it loaded. Doesn't always happen, but if there's more than like three posts it does.
I've got the newest version of Firefox too, so I dunno what the problem is.
-
We just updated the forum to the latest version, and hoping to see the problem fixed. How is it loading now?
-
Hello Everyone,
We made some server changes today and as oceanizer already said we upgraded the forums to see if this will fix the problems that we have been having.
If you guys have anymore issues, please let us know right away.
Thanks!
-
/me points above.
That's the server guy ^^
-
Yao so far it all seems fine. I think I´ll change back to 20 posts per page later on and see if that works fine too. I´ll post how it worked out later. Gotta go now. :D
-
It's the same for me. Even at 5 posts per page setting the bottom of the page sometimes doesn't load properly - no Quick Reply window. Will try again after i get back from uni.
-
Nothing's changed here. I still have the same problems of half loading pages.
-

It cut off after this post for me, so… not very well!
-
Just got back home and yeah, like the others said it seems to be back its old (evil) self again. I´m still at 5 posts per page and now I´m that far again that I sometimes can´t see the quick reply box.
-
to those who can't see the quick reply box, either quote someone to reply, or, look to the lower left, just below the last post, there is a "reply" button. I've been using that when the box won't load.
no problems yet for me, but the loading problem happens off and on for me anyways, so just wait, it could be coming.
-
Hmmm, the problem appears to have been fixed for me. We'll see if it stays that way, if not I'll be reporting back here again.
-
unfortunately, the problem still there. I still can't read the other half ot the thread, and eventhough I use the 5 reply per thread, if the post is too long, I still can't read it. =S I thought It was because I'm a dial up user, but apparently the problem wasn't that. I don't know…..
-
The problem is still there, it is so damn annoying, especially in the spoiler thread, since the script or summary are too long, and I can never see the whole page even with only five posts a page.
-
Another tip to view the long posts, just click on the number in the top right corner of the post. That's how I was able to read Rockshmock's translation in full.
-
Hrm. For whoever having the problem, please let us know your
1. Operating system + service pack
2. Operating system language (though I don't think this matters)
3. Browser + version
4. Browser language
5. Your connection (dsl, cable, etc) -
Windows XP, french, Firefox 2.0, french, dsl.

Firefox 2.0.0.3

I'm starting to doubt it's operating system / browser dependent… D:

2. Operating system language (though I don't think this matters)
3. Browser + version
4. Browser language
5. Your connection (dsl, cable, etc)Umm, the problem's here but only about 60% of the time [yeah it came back =(]. Refresh doesn't work.
1. XP + SP2
2. English
3. IE 7, sorry I can't find the specific .xx version in options.
4. English
5. dslAnd the problem is there completely 100% for my sister's pc, who's like mine only Hebrew for both 2 and 4.

XP sp2

internet explorer 6

dslI doubt that will really help though. Its weird, the problem seems to be gone when I'm on in the morning but returns after I come back from school, so maybe its time related, so we could look if others have the problem at a specific time and make a little time zone math if it does happen on a specific time(or doesn't happen at a specific time anyway)
-
so far everyone with a problem uses dsl…..?
-
I can't imagine why DSL would cause a problem.
I have rarely had the problem at all…for the most part the forum has and continues to work fine for me. occasionally the last post won't load but I just refresh and it's fine.
My boyfriend's computer for some reason always has had the problems people have been having, I don't know why.Anyway, I'm using
Windows XP Pro service pack 1 (bootleg heh)

Firefox/1.5.0.11

What's your bf's comp spec?
Btw, I have DSL at home but have no problem…

I don't know, it's similar to mine, except he probably hasn't installed any windows updates since he got the new computer in August because he's computer lame like that. And he uses cable connection with a router. I wonder if it might have more to do with his resolution.
-
It looks like I'm having the same issues still as well. I can view the first 5 messages or so on each page.
If it helps any I'm using:
Windows XP
Tried viewing on IE7 and latest version of FirefoxI, too, use DSL. I've attempted to look at the site from both computers in our house (connected via wireless router). No luck…
-
On a note that I touched on, what resolution is everyone using? I'm using 1024X768, if that matters at all, I don't know.
-
Hello Everyone,
From this post on, let us know if you are still having or getting white pages or any other errors.
We have made another change, and if this does not fix things, we will downgrade PHP and try to remove some plugins.
Thank you all for your patience.

I'm using 1280X1024, and up until the recent problems everything had worked fine. The other computer I've used to read the forums is set at 1440X900.

Hi there. i´m still having problems with your Forum. When i´m setting "Thread Display Options" on forum standart i only get the site as far as this after its reloding himself 2 or 3 times (at the bottom of the site):
i´ve seen, that the site reloads, when the php-file is over 48kb, don´t know if it´s mentioned before, maybe this could help u.
XP (1600x1200 PC, 1024X768 Notebook), Vista (1600x1200) and 2003 (800x600) same prob
Opera and IE7
DSL (dont think it has something to do with that)I got the probs for some week now. it seems to me, none of youre changes were helping.
But i hope it will soon be fixed, it´s becoming annoying.

Not sure what y'all did, but the forum is back to normal on my end. Thank you for all the troubleshooting and hard work!
-
The forum is now good for me too =D Thanks for fixing it!

With this whole Griffin-thing going on, I have started to suspect that this thing was some weird joke too…
Propably not. I think I'm turning paranoid...
Anyway, I don't seem to have any problems like pages not loading properly or something like that anymore.
-
Yep, everyting seems to still be working fine. Hope it stays like that.
