Yeah, it don't look interesting from the screenshots. I also don't intend to see it as I haven't played the games, but intend to.

I watched it….it was okay, umm for a first episode though it didn't really knock my socks off with action like I expected it too. The little girl they added in gets on my nerves just because it is Devil May Cry and she feels really fucking forced.
I saw it the day it came out in raw. Terek is no DMC fan but even if that was the case the DMC anime sucks really badly - it's like a dumb amalgation of Trigun and Claymore, borrowing the look of the latter and the generic monsters of the latter. Not to mention Dante is pretty cliche as a character, and the loli is annoying beyond belief.
There is more potential in ToS in my view; heck, there's probably more potential in MapleStory.

Just watched the first episode. Not exactly original, but its quality and has quite a bit of potential, and I've been pretty pleased with Madhouse's animation. And yeah, hopefully that girl will be gone later down the road…

I wasn't quite as immpressed as I thought I was gonna be. As a fan of the games, I was dissapointed with the little girl being added, and Dante was had a boring personality. Where's the cocky asshole I always liked?

So far, I'm still wondering if watching this is a good idea. The video games have always been some of my favorites, but I'm having doubts about it after hearing what everyone has to say about it.
Patty needs to be given the boot, seriously. Her hogging the spotlight can seriously ruin this series. This show is supposed to be about Dante kicking ass and taking names, and kicking more ass and taking more names, not a stupid Patty the Bratty ass kissing.
Why was Dante NOT talking shit to his enemies? Seems they are going with DMC2 Dante with added icecream obsession. I hope he shows more of his personality latter on.
