Okay, my idea is a Member Q&A subforum. Now, members reveal tiny scraps of information about themselves all the time. But, wouldn't you like some in depth information on some of the other members?

So, basically, every member could create his or her own thread; in this thread, other members would ask questions. Now, of course, the forum rules still apply. No member bashing, no racial or religious slurs, etc.

I'm thinking it could be an Introduction subforum.

So, could it work? Has something like this been done before?

um, I think everyone having their own thread would be a bit much. I mean we can just check out eachothers live journals, and blogs, if we are curios.

I wouldn't mind though, a single thread of just Q and A. I don't mind talking about myself for something to do XD and I'm always wondering about other people, or get certain people confused with others.

        That's my 2 sence.

An entire sub-forum is kind of pushing it, since I assume most members don't really care for the outide lives of out members and only a select few (like those in the "Post how your day was" thread) would take that seriously. A thread seems like a more logical idea.

I remember somebody making a thread that was similar to a Q&A. I think it was Buuhan1.

The thread is fine…a whole subforum just for people to create threads where they expect others to ask them questions is excessive, if not somewhat egotistical.

Plus the subforum idea could turn into another popularity contest when for instance one member has tons of responses in his thread while another one might have just a handful of them. Then the question "why does he/she have so many and I so few?" questions start which is the first step on the way to hell.

Introduction board isn't only for new members. I mean, I see some of the oldest members introducing themselves in that thread even though they weren't new any more. You can ask them question there 😉

Or, you can always go for Arlong Park Q&A thread. I believe Greg has come up with quite good set of questions…
