Why does everyone think BB is gonna get more DF powers? Maybe two is his limit or he just doesn't want any more powers. I think it would be really lame if he had like 10 powers.

I would say that Blackbeard killed Drake and took his ultimate pwnage zoan, except for the fact that Drake is far too awesome and has a rich backstory that is yet to be explored and exploited.
Why the hell would Blackbeard want to turn into a dinosaur when there are things 10 times bigger in the Grand Line that could easily beat it?

Exactly, because every jolly roger has something to due with crew or at the very least the captain. Seeing as how the jolly roger is three skull and crossbones which have nothing to due with the costume of Blackbeard or any characteristics that are present in his crew the only logical reference is the amount of devil fruit powers that he personally has at his disposal.

BB pirates flag is the head of Cerberus, the creature that is a symbol of fate - one head looks in the past, one in the present and one in the future.Fate is an important theme of his character and yes I did overlook that which was a mistake on my part, but I still think he'll obtain one more fruit since yami yami could represent the present WB's fruit could represent the past and a supernova's fruit could represent the future. The Borque Works jolly roger could have something to do with an event that happened in Crocodile's past, or seeing as how purple is included in the symbol that could represent Crocodile's motive to become someone of importance or stature.

Doesn't mean they didn't have one. I presumed it was just Crocodile's same one from piracy, and the wings and sabres really don't have much to do with Croc, unless all of the rest of his crew had been swashbuckling skypeians.

I saw it like this: Blackbeard a man who lives from moment to moment is a figure of the present, Whitebeard is a figure of the past a made man who has been everywhere and has gained the respect and fear of many, and the Supernova, an upcoming pirate who aspires to make something of his or herself in the future.

Thatch being a name Blackbeard was known by and Edward being the other. Darkness and Quake DFs taken from them after he killed both. That is no coincidence and if he is in fact getting a 3rd DF this would be a pattern.
So if he were to get a 3rd DF the character would have to be named Drummond or revealed to have that name.

Augur = No one got this exactly, but scanlators were closer.
Teach = Scanlators got it.
Catarina = Catalina would be more in line with her namesake, but what the hell.

I'd be disappointed if Lafitte didn't fight Sanji.
Both long legs. They're both agile. And Lafitte basically "tap dances" everywhere.
The minute I saw him, I wanted him and Sanji to go at it. That's one of the fights I'm most looking forward to in the series. Hopefuly it happens.

And don't forget Lafitte's random wings; who knows how he'll fight, as he seems to possess both flight and hypnotism.

Am I the only one who thinks it's possible that the SHs and Blackbeard Pirates will be "matched up" on position? It would go with the "evil equivalents" idea. There's the ones we know for sure - captain (Luffy-Teach) and swordsman (Zoro-Shiliew.) For the rest, we really don't know enough about their abilities to say what would make a good fight.
For example - there are plenty of good arguments about Lafitte fighting Brook or Sanji, but Nami would make sense as well (as they would fight in this scenario.) He's a "high-profile" member who was introduced early, but is probably weaker than most of the crew now that the prisoners are there.
If the next SH crewmate is a helmsman, I'll be pretty certain they'll match up this way.

not sure others reasoning, but that is only one of the small reasons for me. i have a much larger reasoning. Go one guy at a time here.
Brook:
- just bones, so lightweight and thus can jump really high and agile
- fights with music in battle
- has a cane sword
Laffite:
- Swan fruit (my guess based on his theme) He has tap shoes, a leotard and wings. Tap shoes and leotard are very ballet and swans are associated with ballet
- Flying fruit, means he will fly some, duh. a super light and high jumping brook can handle this
- being ballet themed and how ballet dances to music and all, I figure his hypnotizing was more Brook style and not Jango style and thus assume he also fights with music
- has a cane (possible cane sword)

He wasnt talking about the strength but the profile of the character, you can say that both nami and usopp have higher profile than brook, though they arent stronger. Try to the read the posts you are commenting on.
People have thus often mentioned that lafitte and nami will fight and used that they are both navigators as a cause. -

Ok, my bad. Anyway, that isn't a real problem. Those fights won't occur before a long time. We will get used to Brook's presence in the crew as we got used to Robin's and Chopper's one after some time. So, it won't be strange if he fight such an opponent.
There are more similarities between Brook and Lafitte than between Nami and Lafitte. -

I think chopper will fight him. Chopper has that ultimate uber big reindeer form (can't remember the name). Which I think would fit in a battle against Sanjuan. Big guy vs. big guy. Unless a giant joins the SH's which could happen I guess.
