i think that the best charachter in anime is hard for me to decide…so i have decided to putt up serveral nominations (lolz). But this is my opinon so please put your favorites

I's kind of hard to really say who's "the best" anime character…it'll just end up being "my favorite anime characters".
Probably a tie between Dr Slump's Senbeï Norimaki and Lars Ul from Bastard!!, with Gally from Gunnm a close third.
OPINION
I'm going to stick Yotsuba in here as a candidate then.

Even though One Piece is my number 1 favourite manga, my favourite character goes to Onizuka from GTO, with Takamura from hajime no ippo in a close second… Just because they feel more like real characters.
Though I don't really like this series:

Anyways, I think Allen Walker (D. Gray-Man), Luffy (One Piece), and Yoh(Shaman King) are all great characters.

laughing I don't think Fonzie counts, as awesome as he is. And Namulith was pretty kick-ass. Nausicaa is also the only movie that made Oda cry, and I will say I almost cried at it too.

The Akira movie covered about half the manga with significant character changes and detail changes.
The Nausicaa movie coveres maybe a little less than 1/4 of the manga and makes massive world changes. Remember the two sides of the conflict? Some city state vs an empire? Try empire vs. empire.
With the exception of the God Warrior the movie also covers easily the weakest part of the manga. Turns fascinatinglly dynamic characters such as Kushana into 2D blecks (like the Colonel in Akira).
On that note the Colonel from Akira is also one of the best manga characters ever.
