Eh, it was all just a mix up, regardless I meant chef and also knew he was an errand boy. No use gettin nit picky about it.
Theories That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread

Anyway…
I don't that's a little out there. I agree that Oda definitely likes to bring back characters, like whoever thought Mr. 3 would come back as part of Buggy's crew? Regardless, there was never really anything hinting towards it and I feel Sanji's past has already been pretty explored. I mean he was pretty young when he was working as a Chief on that ship that got ship wrecked. Not saying it's impossible, just seems unlikely to me.
While I do believe Sanji knowing Bellamy and Sarquiss is a stretch (it's a "just-throwing-it-out-there-theory", one I don't expect you to automatically linger on for years, but one I hope you don't brush aside in an instant), I have a stronger belief that we'll see more of Sanji's past. I think Oda hinted at it when he had Sanji mention he was born in the North Blue and grew up in the East. All he really said, regarding that, was that he read Noland the Liar in the past and that it was a famous book in the North. Oda could've just had that information revealed some other way without things being difficult.
Also… nothing in his Krieg arc flashback had anything about his parents. He was just... on the ship. Which is another reason why I think we'll see more of his past.

van auger is based on the sniper from baron munchausen. makes you wonder if any other memers are from this movie or other tales.
-
So if a human eats a devil fruit, he becomes useless in the sea, cant use his powersand supposedly cant move, so he sinks and drowns.
There have been times in the series when they have been shown to be able to move, just not swim, like trying to swim while being composed of lead. So as dumb as it sounds, imagine if a fishman eat a devil fruit, yes he becomes useless in the water and sinks to the depths, only this isnt a problem because he was probably born down there, a la fishman island, so I imagine we can see fishman who ate devil fruit and are stuck on teh ocean floor but are still alive, or something like that.
-
The reason the Kuja know Rayleigh is because he is the person Nyon (old ex-empress) fell in love with and the reason she had to leave the island.
-
That would be weird lol
-
Yeah but when you think about it it makes sense…a little.
-
haha yeah but that lady is way to short for him
-
People shrink, some more than others, and some a lot more than others. Also later in the series I think the remains of Whitebeards crew will battle Blackbeard's crew and get defeated. They will then fight the Strawhats to see if they are worthy/able to defeat Blackbeard.
-
Well people do shrink when they get older
yeah i guess cause we gotta see zoro cut diamond jozu -
@Doc:
Well people do shrink when they get older
yeah i guess cause we gotta see zoro cut diamond jozuwho now only has one arm =(
wait that was jozu right?
I hated that battle, the WBs got so fucked up, I thought marco was gonna die for a while. -
Well it's possible that Zoro would fight Vista if Jozu can't fight, cause Vista fought on par with Mihawk.
-
The more I think about Fishmen Island, than it's obvious that Luffy and the gang will hmmm… destroy that bubble covering the island. By accident of course
-
And kill all the human people on FI ? Including the whole SH crew ?
-
@Doc:
Well people do shrink when they get older
yeah i guess cause we gotta see zoro cut diamond jozuTsuru is an example of such. Look at her now, and look how she was 27 years ago (chapter 0).
-
Tsuru is still tall.
-
Also I think that instead of fighting Donflamingo like everyone thinks will happen, because of all the hype about his strength, he will team up with the straw hats.

Your brain needs an editor and pronto.

True I hate grammar and spelling mechanics in general. But since I am commenting I shall need a new theory. Hmm… I got it! Someone else may have said this but I think it is plausible that the shichibukai will not replace their lost members and have the shikibukai replaced by an army of Pacifista headed by Kuma.
-
I'm pretty sure he wasn't talking about your grammar…
-
Ohhh… that hurts man.
-
I know there is nothing in the manga pointing to the 5 elder stars being fighters, but if they are…
One is seen carrying a sword, he could kill Mihawk and take the title of worlds best, as well as taking the worlds best sword, then Zoro would have to avenge his master.
-
I don't really have a theory right now but I think Bluejam and Caribou really look as each other, can they be related? They are not the same person cause Bluejam is mutch older than Caribou (and even dead, lol) but still.. I think they look a like!
-
Hey, anyone remember the "are fishman island and skypiea related" thread? Cause I don't remember much about it except that it existed and I can't find it.
I forget what the consensus was back then, but right now I'm seeing signs pointing to some kind of connection. The constant parallels are one thing, but in chapter 608 it's been pointed out that someone has dials here. That's some coincidence.
-
Nor do they act the same… 0 resemblance.
I mean, sure anything is possible in One Piece, but I doubt Bluejam will be connected to the current storyline.
-
They have similar noses, but other than that, I can't really spot any similarities either…
Still, like Sabo said, you never know what could happen in One Piece, so I guess that's not too ridiculous…:P

yeah, I guess you right, as I said it was just something that I come up with for the moment.

Dude, in that case there's a thread called Dumb Predictions.
-
I've been curious for a while if anyone else thinks this, too:
In the fight with the Kraken, we saw that Chopper's Guard Point is now absolutely huge. I'm curious if something similar happened to all his other Rumble Ball Points.
Before the Time Skip, I had theorized that during the two years, he'd make a Ball capable of letting him control Monster Point, but now I see that would just take away the big drawback of Rumble Balls in the first place.
So my New theory is that some element of Monster Point has been introduced to each of his Rumble Points.Or something like that.

I kind of figured that's just because Chopper has aged a bit. I mean, his normal reindeer form was also alot bigger with more fur etc that before the timeskip. He got 2 years older, which in reindeer years is alot more, so to speak.
Probably is just that.
-

Wow, it would be great. I wonder how's his monster point, now that he's grown.

Imagine his arm point with arms the size of Luffy gear 3, lol.

Sorry Sir! Will not happen again Sir…. Merry christmas Sir!

so yeah, on the topic of people who look similar, Porchemy and Fukaboshi (the first son sharkman prince) have lots of similar aspects to them - makes me wonder about porchemy's tattoo..
-
I was just skipping over some old chapters while i saw that Akainu had this "sword tattoo" on his right arm.
http://www.mangareader.net/103-55461-1/one-piece/chapter-592.htmlCould be some kind of symbolistic Damocles sword:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Damocles
seeing also that it`s reversed on his arm.
Would definitely match the "true\absolute justice" theme. -
@Cyan:
I'd love for the Fisher Tiger flashback to be like the Norland one.
I'm more interested in who will be telling the flashback. I mean it's been hinted a lot through the manga - so the build up is there we know he fought to free all slaves but not how he went about doing it.
I have a feeling like the Norland we will get one side of the story - probably from Hammond or Jones. Which will show a side of selfishness that is the common believed story that exists today.
Then will come the true story that will explain why events happened the way they did - like why no transfusion happened or was able to happen.Probably leading to Sanji and Tiger having the exact same Bloodtype - and the only slave at the time able to make the transfusion declined it. Continuing my minor fanfic moment I would hazard to guess that the revelation is made for the only person with Sanji's rare bloodtype to raise above the hatred and share blood with a human to help heal the wounds - sappy I know but I am thinking it may go along these lines.

Lol it's just the beginning of Oda drawing really ugly characters… With sometimes a questionnable design. Like the first Prince, in the last chapter :/
I like Cariboo, though ^^ -
since the time-skip, chopper's appearance in his different points have changed or perhaps evolved. His walking point is more reindeer-like. Guard point has is larger, becoming a better guard. Brain point's head seems to have enlarged which could be mistaken for a growing brain, but is more likely a result of Oda's art style due to it being evident much earlier in the series
Anyway, what I'm getting at is that Why hasn't Heavy Point been shown yet (besides there being no reason for it) What if Oda has a cool surprise in store? Wouldn't it make sense that heavy point has changed, too? Considering that with the human human devil fruit, Walking point is considered the original version, Brain is the hybrid, and Heavy is the Fruit transformation (in this case human), does anyone else think that the heavy point chopper may look more human, just like walking looks more reindeer?
I mean if this is completely wrong, then heavy will at least be… well… heavier, right?
-
Yeah I'm pretty sure it's going to look freakishly cool, Oda is definately holding out on us.
-
I'm actually hoping that in these 2 years, Chopper managed to make a better Rumble Ball.
A couple of possible upgrades that comes to mind :
1. A "small" version, which makes his transformation last quicker, but shortens the interval required for each Rumble Ball consumption. (If normally it lasts 3 mins n needs 12 hours to eat another one, this version lasts for like 15 seconds but only need like 2 hours before he can eat another one).
This is more efficient, this way he can use it for specific tasks only (like using Guard Point to shield the ship). And still be able to fight using a Rumble Ball later on.
2. A "durable" version, well just a longer duration for transformation with or without change in intervals.
This is pretty straightforward I guess. It allows him to fight using his transformation longer.
3. A "variety" version, Rumble Ball works by "disturbing" the wave length of a Zoan DF thus enabling the user to have more then 3 forms (if my memory serves me). Well, this version basically improves the "disturbance", thus giving him new forms.

Gorousei Theories-
-The tall one with the beard looks like Gan Fall's brother, this would explain why the World Government keeps its nose out of Skypeia's afiars.
-The bald Ghandi-looking one will kill Mihawk before Zoro can claim the title of worlds strongest swordsman.
Priate king Theories-
-Gumo gomo no mi
-His spirit lives on in Shanks and Buggy
Blackbeard Theories-
-Aiming to posses the most powerful Logia, Paramecia, and Zoan.
-Eventual team up with Shiki -
I'm thinking we're most likely going to get some flashbacks with Fisher Tiger during FI as well as I do believe Arlong could very well show back up again.
-
@PirateHunter345:

Arlong was put into Impel Down right? After that break-out, it wouldn't surprise me…but I don't think he'll be all that all of a sudden, if you know what I mean, maybe a minor roll or something?
-

I'm sure that if he were in Impel Down and had been released Oda would have shown him there. He isn't the kind to not hint at something as important as that.
-
I agree. Hachan said Arlong was a prisoner of the Marines, but had never said he was in Impel Down.
-
I agree. Hachan said Arlong was a prisoner of the Marines, but had never said he was in Impel Down.
Whereas Impel Down was mentioned during the Enies Loby arc. So it's quite unlikely. But, on the other hand, how could Hachi know where Arlong is imprisoned at?
-
Well, wasn't Hachi in the same prison but escaped?
-
Well, wasn't Hachi in the same prison but escaped?
No, he escaped from the ship that was transporting them to the prison.

I always found it funny, mainly because i'm portuguese, that DoFlamingo, is actually Don Flamingo. In portuguese/spanish/italian tradition, Don is an honorific title given to nobles mainly, and it's abbreviated form is D.
My theory is that the DoFlamingo could also be a D. but hiding its true name on the honorific title.
