Throughout this month, we will be testing new features (like search) so you may experience some hiccups from time to time. We'll try to not be too disruptive...

@The:
Mihawk, Shanks went from New World/Grand Line to East Blue. What's the problem?
one's one of the 4 strongest pirates
the other is the world's strongest swordsman
and Zeff is… the world's strongest chef?

The Revolutionaries are not part of the balance of powers.

I'm sorry, but that title belongs to
I have a belief that Oda will bring Zeff's back-story back into the story
After all that story about Red Leg and the fact that he was in the Grand Line for over a year and him still showing by brief moments that he still got some of Red Leg in him at Baratie Arc by deflecting Pearl's attack
I have a theory that atleast one possible StrawHat will appear at Luffy's side during the war.
My Pick either Zoro or Sanji. Though I think Sanji would have a better chance of showing up than Zoro.
a.) Sanji is in the GL, and possibly in the NW. They say that the KK is the exact oppisite of the Amazon Lilly island, so maybe the same holds true fo location, in which case he would only be a few days voyage away.
b.) Sanji definately has the smarts to get back the Sunny before everyone else. He's proven to be very resourcful, and his Location will save him time.
c.) Sanji still might hate himself for not being able to save his friends before his very eyes, and may see the act of coming to Luffy's aid as an act of redemption.
d.) It's Sanji's Nature to come to peoples aid when they need it most.
Though Zoro does have one thing going for him; Perona. If Perona and him join forces and travel to the war (Perona wants to return to Moria, and Zoro wants to return to Luffy), they might just be able to make it in time.

O.O Did I mentioned they are part of the balance? No No you got it wrong, I said they are part of the main players.
Definition of terms: Only to be used in Renegadesoul's theory
Main Players: Group/s that play a major rule in the NEW ERA.

Why would you bring up a group that has nothing to do with the balance of powers that you just claimed has been greatly disturbed?
The SHs are separted
Main Players:
(list of SH crew)
Buggy
See?

It is because they play a major role in my theory. The balance of power has been greatly disturbed. The Marine + Shichibukai WB war is the main reason for this disturbance. The one who benefits the most from this war is Dragon's revolutionaries, with this opportunity they will create the NEW ERA.
So to simplify things:
The MAIN PLAYERS:
1. WG Marines + Shichibukai: is part of the balance of power
2. Yonkou: is part of the balance of power
3. Revolutionaries: is NOT part of the balance of power
See it now?
I always knew the revolutionaries weren't apart of the balance of power. That's why I corrected you.
At least it's simplified for everyone now.

Was there something to be corrected in the first place? I didnt mention anything about the revolutionaries being part of the balance of power, I even simplified and pointed that out. Its more of a misunderstanding than a correction.
The First Seven Straw Hats: Are They Above Sin?
Okay, I searched this thread to see if anyone came up with a similar theory. I did find one on the Seven Warlords, but this one is based instead on the first seven Straw Hats.
It all started when I was arguing with a friend about why One Piece characters were better than Naruto characters. I was thinking about how each crewmember had a weakness of some sort that prevented them from being "too badass" or as cardboard as Naruto characters. Anyways, while thinking about the Straw Hats' weaknesses, I noticed a pattern: They nearly all seem to have a weakness related to one of the Seven Deadly Sins!
First off, Luffy's "weakness" is his impossible appetite. Gluttony.
Zoro is as lazy as they come. Sloth
Nami and Greed go together like Sonny and Cher.
Sanji takes Lust to a whole different level.
Robin is a little more complex, but her morbid personality as well as her generally unforgiving brutality steers me towards the Wrath quality.
Now, Usopp and Chopper were particularly difficult to place. If lying and ignorance were sins, this'd be easy. Instead, I'd have to say Usopp signifies Pride. Crazy, I know, because Usopp is as dishonest as they come, but he's always the first to boast, even if he's full of crap.
With Chopper, I'm really grasping at straws here, but Envy is all that's left. And Chopper does seem a little envious towards people he thinks are cooler than him.
If it weren't for the first four aforementioned "sinners" being so obvious, I would've never thought about this. As for Franky and Brook… They didn't come along until Chapter 400+, compared to Robin joining in about the 230s, I'd say the first seven were together for a long time. Maybe Oda only planned on seven crewmates, but later added Franky and Brook? If I had to though, I'd group Brook in the Lust category for obvious reasons, and Franky in the Pride category for not so obvious reasons. (The whole crying about touchy stories makes one a real man, even though Franky's not a real man anymore CyborgJokeYohohohohohohohoho
So what do you guys think?
I wonder if Vegapunk will defect from the government, since it's possible that the revolutionaries will gain a power advantage in the future. That'll be one epic move.

E.) His Captain is currently fighting alongside the leader of the Island he is on? Think this is the most significant reason he'd show up. He could easily figure out what happened to Ace and assume his reckless Captain would head straight for ID. Mentions their brothers, the Okama say there boss is also in ID, explain he's an accomplice of Dragon, Sanji says Luffy&Ace are Dragons son, they all make the same rationalization Iva did about Dragon and head for ID.
LOL Sanji opened the Gate for the NW Pirates.

This would be upper epic if this becomes true… But even I say it won't happen. If Sanji appears than the rest will appear as well.
I still wait for Rayleigh with the crew.
Sanji and Zoro will show than that they won't get defeated that easy ever again. Both are proud and we saw how Sanji became mad that he wasn't able to save anyone. I still wait for something big for Sanji and Zoro
So what do you guys think?
I'm pretty sure Usopp is the one who is envous of others. That said, your theory works a little too well for my liking. This is One Piece not Fullmetal Alchemist!
Do you guys think Luffy is going to throw off a big Haki towards all the marines and shake them off during Ace's rescue?

No.
Also, I doubt that Vegapunk is a good guy now, what with him "killing" Kuma.

Sounds good, how about Vanity for Franky, Vainglory for Usopp and Acedia for Brook. I like Usopp on pride as he is a very prideful person, (see every fight he has had) but with your explanation Vainglory would fit better. Acedia could fit anyone I guess but given Brooks undeadness and search for Laboon I guess its a better fit.
I might disappoint you in bringing haki in this discussion. If Buggy has to defeat the 3 admirals he needs to use haki and split in 3
One arm for kizaru one arm for Aokiji and the 2 feets for Aikanu. All of them boosted with haki to kick their ass
You heard it here first, Buggy will be the one to beat all the admirals.
This post is just so epic.
A fantastic reply isn't it?
Theory: The reason we haven't heard anything from the 4th Yonkou yet is because he found an awesome DF and was busy training with it. Now he is even stronger than WB.
My money is on a martial artist who now has the air/storm logia power. :ninja:

I think Wrath is forced onto Robin, and Envy is definitely forced onto Chopper. Maybe the other way would work better, with Robin envying the happiness and joy of others, while Chopper still holds that pent up rage from being helpless even though he fights hard. Then again, some of the sins are pushing it.
Usopp and Franky are both proud, but Usopp is more bravado, and Franky is more vanity. Zoro and Brooke are both sloth, but Zoro is more apathy, and Brooke is more sadness.
At the same time, don't they all have their pride, anger, selfishness, negligence, perversion, obsession, etc.?
