Your failure to comprehend the logic of "dumb predictions go in the dumb predictions thread" leads me to question your ability to process any logic at all.

What part of "elastic neck" do you not understand? Luffy is always skarfing down huge bites which take up his entire throat. So no, "he choked several times" is all in your head, which is why you're unable to both provide sources for your arguement and state your claims in a non-question asking form. You could say it wasn't a question because there was no mark to identify it as such, but that's actually a byproduct of your failure at grammar.

Haki weakens DF-users when its used against them. Re-reading a few old chapters, Luffy took damage from Marigold and Sandersonia and was incredulous as to why they hurt him even though he was made of rubber. Also, Rayliegh was able to cut Kizaru's cheek, and was shown to use Haki in previous chapters.

We were talking about how Oda came up with Diable Jambe for Sanji, not an explination on how it works. Prox quoted my older post on the subject, where I compared one of Mr 2's attacks to Sanji's diable jambe. Both seem to be the same concept. I wonder if Oda made it so Sanji got the idea from Bon Clay and took it even further. It just makes allot of sense to me, if Oda were to explain it like that.

I have a feeling that DonQuixote DoFlamingo was originally DonQuixote-D-Flamingo but changed his middle initials coz he doesn believe in this Inherited will, Unlimited Dreams bullcrap!! And he might be trying to prove that not all "D"s follow the same path!!

And I somehow feel that even Shanks belongs to the D family......He resembles most of the D guys till now.....Shows too much affection towards luffy......And his full name is not yet revealed!! I think that Shanks is Luffy's mother's brother!!

No, I'm quite certain that hasn't been said. It's true that some make the mistake of thinking that Jinbei holds Arlong's defeat against Luffy, but the two fishmen have such drastically different beliefs and behaivors that I would be distinctly disappointed in Oda if it does turn out that way.

But I don't think anybody, and I mean ANYBODY has pondered on possible blood relations between them. Oda would have revealed it by now.

Think about it: Suddenly, Jinbei completely changes his behaivor and starts rambling about avenging his fallen brother. Oda isn't Kishimoto. Oda hides his most important plot twists until just the right moment, and even then he teases us with hints that are sometimes so hidden we don't notice them until the twist leaps out at our faces! That lone panel of a laughing Arlong is too vague to be foreshadowing by any measure.

Besides, I have a sneaking suspition that a fishman's species association isn't randomly generated; Hatchi had a crush on a fellow octopus, who could have just as easily resembled any other sea creature. I think Fishmen are attracted almost exclusively to those of the same breed.

Oda has a habit of springing these "relation" things on us, so I don't agree that it would have had to come up by now. Half of the Strawhat crew and Ace are testament to that fact. In fact, I think it would be a really interesting twist for his flashback that I expect we'll get at Fishman Island.

As for the species thing, I don't really know what to think, honestly. It seems like if they all kept to their own species, they'd have to resort to inbreeding. It would make sense, but at the same time there's just so frickin many that it would be very difficult for them to manage it logistically. Having said all of that, Jinbei and Arlong are both sharks (not the same kind of sharks, but sharks none the less).

Now, I don't support the idea that they're related. However, I think it's a pretty interesting/cool little theory, and I'm not willing to totally dismiss it.

I don't really know how that's different from other peoples' (who actually read a proper translation), and to my knowledge it's entirely accurate. But that doesn't really have anything to do with the theory at hand.

I just want to point out that the ocean dwellers, the Fishmen and Mer folk are not exclusively attracted to the same species. First off we know that Big Pan of the Foxy Pirates was half fishman half giant. Of course one can argue that a giant could have forced him/herself onto a fish person but we know that aint true.

Second, Camie is obviously attracted to Hatchan, and I believe her obvious jealousy was portraid in the cover story, when Hatchi tried to woo that Octo girl. Also Shakki asked if Camie was Hatchi's lover, Camie denied it of course. But the fact that Shakki asked it all together must mean that Fishmen and Mermaids are able to love each other and have kids that make god knows what.

As far as the Jimbei and Arlong being brothers according to Oda you don't even have to be blood related to be brothers. So Jimbei and Arlong could be "brothers" and he could've hinted towards that when Jimbei thought of him on the ship a few chaps back. Assuming he knew what he's been doing in East Blue or what he did to Nami, Luffy's Navigator.

Garp should be a marine's marine. Yes he's more lax but that's due to the moral justice he chooses to follow instead of absolute justice. At the end of the day he believes he's on the right side of things no matter what his actions are similar to how Akainu would think with his principles.

After Enis Lobby, Garp knows that Luffy would try to invade Marine HQ. And what better way to help the Government and not be leathel to his grandson, than by sending them very far away where they would be no trouble, and probably focus on regrouping than getting involved with the war.

I've thought for a while that Kuma's not all he seems, though my thoughts on the matter were that he's like some sort of insider for the revolutionaries by "working for" the government as a warlord. Is he working for Garp? I dunno. Couldn't say. But there's definitely something up with him. Actually, I was thinking about when he popped over next to Rayleigh and told him something; what if he was telling Rayleigh what he was doing (splitting the StrawHats up, possibly for their own "safety," which I'm using loosely here because you've seen where each has landed)? Just a thought.

But I'm starting to stray here. To sum up, I think he could be working for the revolutionaries, but "undercover," so to speak, as a warlord. Sounds interesting to me, since he'd be privy to conversations the revolutionaries would be dying to hear.

So I think the only reason why he loathes World Govt. so much is because he was a former marine and believed in his own justice rather than "Abs. Justice" and in the process either discovered some dark facts about Govt. or was forced to do some things which were against his motto. So he went against them like "Jaguar D Saul" and became a revolutionary.

One more fact which strengthens this theory is that Dragon's Revolutionary army wasnt considered a big threat 5-6 yrs back and I am Sure Dragon is in his early 40s right now. So even if the Rev. Army was started around 10 yrs back, what was he doing before that when he was in late 20s and early 30s??

Not sure if this was discussed before but i have a theory that the reason Mr.2 was left behind in Impel Down is because Blackbeard is going to save him from Mallegan and in exchange for saving him,have Mr.2 join his crew.
The main reason i think this is that if you look at BB's crew at the moment there is no proper opponent for sanji when the strawhats fight BB's crew unless maybe Burgess(wrestler guy) but he looks far more like a franky opponent to me.
I do think there is a bit of a problem with this as with what we have seen so far Mr.2 does'nt seem powerful enough to be a major opponent for sanji again but who knows he may get some power up before the end

The first time sanji and Mr.2 fought Mr.2 had already made friends with the SH crew before they entered Arabasta but still fought sanji anyway probably due to loyalty to crocidile's organisation
