When did you get an abnormal surge of strenght in a moment of hopelessness

I know this seems kinda of random….(at least to me) but ever get yourself under like a stressful situation or get scared really bad the all of a sudden, boom (hopefully that wasn't my spleen), you get this surge of energy out of no wheresville(highly doubt that's a word). Well today i got chased by a dog and outran a dog...which at the moment didn't seem possile to me but anyways the point is i was reallyscared and out ran the dog. So preety much that's how my day went.... being chased by a dog....how fun. Hey got to look at the upside...i got home sooner (yay...not really).

oh and another stressful situation (a year ago)...somehow someone scared me from behind really bad and i kicked a round table really hard and broke it. luckily the table was mine......

so when did you get an abnormal surge of strenght in a moment of hopelessness.

It could be like sports or just something scaring yah bad. ^_^ have fun

I was once fighting this really huge merman and all hope seemed loss, but then, renewed by the power and courage of friendship, I got back up on my feet and shot him down 3 stories where he arguably died.

And then we all went to a Milkshake stand and kicked the shit out of the owner. Then we stole all the milkshakes and bathed in them.

yah something like that it would be cool to use it whenever you wanted but the downside is adrenilin

takes up way to much energy
pushes everything to it's limits (muscles, heart, etc.)
if constatly used will kill you.. not good.

A few years ago I lived in the country, because my mom had met some guy on the Internet and she, me and my brother ended up moving there. It turned out that the new boyfriend was ridiculously jealous about my mom and probably had some mental issues. One day me and my brother returned from school and terrible things had happened. The guy had snapped, choked my mom and thrown her out. It was the middle of winter and my mom didn't even have shoes on! Luckily she could espace to her car and she was crying there when me and my brother arrived. I gave her my shoes and then we started to pack.

The situation wasn't entirely hopeless, but it was still bad. During the entire drive back home I was the only one who didn't shed a single tear, because I felt I had to be strong for my mom and my brother. Not only did I feel I had mental strength at the moment, but I was also probably the most furious I've ever been in my whole life. When I saw the guy as I was packing our stuff… seriously, if I hadn't been able to control myself, I'm pretty sure I could've killed him. Or at least offer him a can of pure whoop-ass.

Once I was having a fist fight with this secret agent on a roof, and in recalling the need to protect my friends, I discovered I could compress my legs to pump blood and adrenaline into my system. I'm a rubberman, afterall.

I was having this conflict with an antagonistic assailint of cruel/charasmatic disposition who induced negative emotions on me while overloading my particular skills and or strength, than happend to induce adrenaline in the form of hateful stress after making a threat and or attack on a significant noun held dear to me that allowed me to heighten my skill and or strength to the precise level nessacary to overcome the antagonistic person and bring suprise fortune on my situation.

I was once surrounded by a gang of school-type bitches who say "like" every 10 seconds wh owere starting to berate me. I was young and not experienced so I flipped out and kicked their leader in the chest. Then she kept trying to kick my crotch but kept hitting my thighs and I managed to bruise her several times. The toadies simply tried to get away for fear of me.

God, that was one of the awesomest things I have ever done. I should bruise people more often.

Duh, when I was in high-school I bully people everyday, I was a member of ALpha Phi Omega-Triskellion fraternity. And we mostly gank somebody almost every week.

BTW: I think the boost comes from Adrenaline, Corticone, COrtisole or the Glucocorticoids.

The one time I got a hormonal boost was when a dog chased me. I was sneaking into a girls dormitory to get somebody then this dog comes around and chase me. I was able to jump through a four foot wall, just as that!!
