I honestly hope it's a melee fighter, but has a 'proper' fighting style(rather than the 'wild' style of Luffy/Chopper, and Sanjis all-kick style). Sort of mid fighting power(like Brook/Robin/Franky)The Monster Trio is fine as it is IMO. Though Chopper, Nami, and Usopp have well defined and established roles I really dont want to see another weakling joining-just my thoughts.

Though saying that, I'd really like to see more team battles involving everyones talents, like the one against Oz.
