One Piece Manga Colouring Project by ColorYonko.

Over on Reddit a One Piece manga colouring group has formed and are colouring from Chapter 700. Currently they are up to 702 and the deadline for 703 is 31/10/2013.

Releases

Chapter 701 - Adventure in the country of love, passion and toys.
Chapter 702 - Corrida Colosseum
Chapter 703 - Waiting Room

Also they are seeking members to help out with colouring the chapters so if you are capable of doing so hit them up on Reddit over here.

I'll keep this post updated when a new chapter comes out. Also mods if my thread is in the wrong place feel free to move it.

Edit: Chapter 703 is out. Is the quality getting better? They're still trying to improve and recruiting.

I just noticed…on the first page of chapter 1, bottom right panel with the people cheering, rightmost person...IS THAT BENN BECKMAN?

ugh…the color scheme is pretty bad for a lot of the background and recoloring over Oda's colored pages in the first chapter really makes it look dreadful (not to mention a bunch of white spots here and there which makes it look really awkward). Nice effort, but not a huge fan of it due to it looking remarkably sloppy.

As much as I appreciate the effort, it's just… weak.

As mentioned above, it's sloppy, the palette is bland, washed off and the colors are too repetitive, not to mention some schemes are wrong (ex. Fujitora's got my attention the most).
Coloring done by several people just doesn't work well.

I liked how well they handled Franky and Momo's schemes and Fujitora's crater though.

I think it's a neat project but personally I'm not a fan, I prefer my manga black&white if not coloured by the mangaka and/or his team.

This is great! Unfortunately I know nothing of coloring chapters like this, but I'll definitely follow the updates.

I do have to admit, some of the backgrounds are a bit off.

Cool that fans are doing fan-stuff. But it looks terrible. No effort to try and remove the screen tone first either. Which is a bitch, I know… but if you're going to make an effort at this... at least TRY.

Cripes, the first chapter existed in color by Oda himself already anyway! (Though it looks like they were just using the greyscale version of the art? Yeesh.)

Isn't coloring chapters redundant now with Shueisha doing it themselves? They're look great, accurate and difficult for fans to compete with. I can understand why color predictions for characters are made soon after a chapter is released, but a full chapter seems like a burden for something that will be done by the publisher at some point, not that I'm criticizing your effort :P
