It was cute how that one girl was trying to hit on Thorfinn for saving her with a certain someone raining on her parade.
That being said, the next chapter should make for some fast-paced action I reckon. After all it's been a while since Thorfinn last faced an opponent who can match him speed-(and possibly skill)wise.

Thorkell should get to die in battle in my opinion. Garm might be the "just enough".
Thorfin would not get into battle where he would risk his life but he might get wounded, Garm is a threat to anyone from looks of it.I wonder how long to go Vinland Saga has? Its in my top 3(currently reading) right now and It would be shame if it would end in less than 5 years imo.

Bit too comedic for my taste. Feels a bit like what happened to Berserk.. mangakas getting soft in a way I guess.. maybe "party" will be as serious as it can get..

Its more of a joke than confirmation of any sort.
It clearly was a joke, but looking the drawings in the panels after that for me its clear that this was an intended joke to make it obvious…

There's been some development with the rest of the main cast in this month's chapter but the little one-on-one between Thorkell and Garm took the cake.
Vinland Saga is brilliant for so many reasons yet my heart jumps a little every time I lay eyes on a good fight. It seems I completely forgot about how fast Thorkell is. Never thought he could keep up with Garm speed-wise.

I didn't follow the official releases for a while but it looks like there's already volume 8 and v. 9 came out just recently? It's gonna be quite close to what's been scanlated so far? It's great that they kept releasing the series. Looks like I gotta order the latest 2 I don't have.
