I realy liked this chapter, couldn't care less about the fanservice even though it's nice…...but did someone else notice the strange shadind in the bathtub shortly before the invisible man appears (no pun intenden....). It's on Page 14 the top panel on the right.
Chapter 446 "Doctor Hogback" Discussion

-
oh man,
what will sanji say, if he knows, that Ussop and Chopper saw Nami naked xD.
I guess he will be very angry…Well, this invisible man is really great. He ate a DF for sure.
-
Does anyone besides me see , Dr moraeu-H.G Wells. In doctor hogblack?
-
Dang Kumadori said "oira" too. Does "oira" have some kind of "old touch" to it or something? Like the "royal we" or something?
-

old news.
i do, too. some others also do i think.
-
I can't help hoping that the invisible man isn't really a invisible man at all, and it's really Doflamingo using the puppetry power he has. Maybe Cindry wasn't scared of Brooke, she was worried that it was someone controlling an inanimate skeleton and throwing their voice.
-
Conclusive evidence that Nami indeed does have fake boobs.
I rest my case.
-
^Nami is fictional, therefore her titties will never be real.
Case closed.

I guarrantee you that Doflamingo won't be showing up in this arc.

So you can speak on Eiichiro Oda's behalf?
A year ago, people would have said the same thing about Garp being Luffy's grandfather. They also would have said that Dragon being Luffy's father was too obvious.
You never know what will happen when it comes to Oda…
-
Intresting Chapter…and I love the color spread
OT: there is something mentioning the movie log box on the color spread...can anyone translate what that says

So you can speak on Eiichiro Oda's behalf, huh?
A year ago, people would have said the same thing about Garp being Luffy's grandfather. They also would have said that Dragon being Luffy's father was too obvious.I would never have stated that Garp isn't Luffy's grandfather or Dragon isn't Luffy's father, because there was never any evidence against it. But some things are just made fairly apparent by simple reasoning. Like towards the end of Enies Lobby, some person was insisting to me that Franky wasn't going to join but he was almost certain the next crewmember would be female, and I said, "I guarrantee you that won't be happening". Obviously I didn't know for certain, but if I'm wrong about this, like I told that other person, then I'll gladly eat a pair of my socks.

But you could actually see the marks on where she was being grabbed.
Plus the part where Robin was licked…Edit:
Kaizokufan22- Something about:
"OP Movie Log Box" premieres next week, March 1st, on Thursday. -
I would never have stated that Garp isn't Luffy's grandfather or Dragon isn't Luffy's father, because there was never any evidence against it.
Nor was there any evidence supporting it.
Right now, there's no evidence supporting or apposing Doflamingo showing up, so I wouldn't say I know what's going to happen.
If Dolamingo shows up, you need to post pics of you eating that sock.
-
So the group dynamic is now:
Sanji: Philosophizes the situation.
Robin: Insane goth.
Franky: Looking for a fight.
Zoro: Too good to fight just about everyone, but judges them nonetheless.
Luffy: Wants to eat it.Pinpon! I think you've got it!
Also is there evidence that the invisible man didn't rape Nami? Maybe she's pregnant with invisible babies now?
-

chopper will make an abort though

I hate hogback already, and I hate Wappol sama
I really hope that hogback is an enemy because I wanna see him get the crap kicked out of him
I have a feeling that Brooke has been trapped somehow or some huge creature has him trapped and luffy finds him and brooke asks for help and luffy says "if I help you will you become my nakama?"
and blah blah blah
-
Another quite boring chapter. It doesn't leave me wanting to know what is going to happen next.
The introduction of Hogback was alright, but I think Oda should have included more of him, and less of Nami nude.
Everything was quite predictable… like why Hogback disappeared and the return of invisible man.
Quite a boring chapter, IMO.
-
Nice chapter. <3 I really find myself getting into this arc, there seems to be a real mystery behind it. Like why is Hogback sweating all the time…

No evidence against it is all the evidence that is needed in a fictional story for there to be evidence for it.
-
I know the laughs are different, but maybe Dr.Hogback is the invisible man, just a suggestion, I'm claiming this theory as my own!
-
One piece will end after this arc. D: There is no evidence for it so it will probably happen since it is the most spontanious thing that could possibly happen
-

Don't mean to offend you but Im pretty sure I've read already in the thread that people have thought of that.
Me, Im going with dinty's theory, its that man lion. Coincidently he has the number 69 on his ass…
-

I say Dr.Hogback is now a experiment himself XD
and as for One piece probably ending after this arc..then the series would become a bunch of Unsolved mysteries -
@Pass:

Right now, there's no evidence supporting or apposing Doflamingo showing up, so I wouldn't say I know what's going to happen.Right, which is why I wouldn't have stated that those things were true.
On the other hand, there is evidence that suggests that the invisible man is not a puppet, namely the fact that it has a will of its own - whereas if you recall, when Doflamingo controls a person, they're completely horrified by the fact that they're being controlled. However, I'm talking about Doflamingo actually being ON the island…if there's some scene switch of a gathering of Shichibukai that has nothing to do with the Strawhats situation, kind of like the scene after Jaya, then that's a different story.
-
Right, which is why I wouldn't have stated that those things were true.
On the other hand, there is evidence that suggests that the invisible man is not a puppet, namely the fact that it has a will of its own - whereas if you recall, when Doflamingo controls a person, they're completely horrified by the fact that they're being controlled.I stand corrected.
Unless Donflamingo wants the invisible man to act that way. Maybe he can control a person's behavior as well, it just takes more time and energy. We don't knkow that much about him, so the full extent of his powers remains open. Just a theory.
-
Seriously people , DonFlamingo?
Do you people like making complex theory's?
A) Even if he was controlling Brook he can't project voices. How could he do this? He sure as hell couldn't throw his voice because Brooks was all over the place.
It sure wasn't technology , the best voice technology is recording dials which couldn't do a whole conversation. The Other option would be a Snail Phone which wouldn't work.
B) If he did some how have voice control then why did he tell the SH crew to leave and not go to Thriller Park (or Bark what ever). If he wanted a good ambush and knew about TP(B) before hand he would of given a good reason for the SH to go.
Sure, Oda could find a overly complicated way to work a certain villain into a arc, but its not really Oda.(and don't go and say "you don't know how oda works lolololo")
-

No, you're right. You have a valid point.
-
Okay, so now I actually read the chapter. So, Hogback is NOT the villian. That's right, Hogback is NOT the villian. That's my guess. "Why not?", you may ask. "He's totally creepy and stuff!". Exactly. Why would Oda beat us over the head with the fact that he's the villian? It's gotta be subtle. Oh, and super hentai fan service from Nami = happy Impel Down.
-
Late to the party, but I just wanted to say Viking Franky is probably the best thing that ever happend. That is all.
-
Well, they say that Oda was fasinated with Vikings as a child. Naked shower invisible rapings, too it seems.
-
i sense more evil than just hogback.thiller bark going more psyco next chapter with brookes return i hope.
-
Betcha that Robin's riding a slightly beaten-up Cerberus next week.
-

I can't really tell if you are sarcastic or not sooooo…
I'm just going to say that no two villains are alike.
I like HogBacks style (and the general direction Oda's taking the Arc). Seeing a person which seems obviously up to no good is refreshing after the CP9 arc in which the enemy's literally did a 360 (hell even the Giants guarding the gate joined the attack force).
-
Stephen's script is up. Using some excerts from his script to make some theories.
Voice: Grrrr…
...you're a very
clever woman...Voice:You're weaker than the woman on the ship… grrr...
Just how I like them….
Voice: Hey, you…
You be my bride...!!!so whatever this thing is, it licked Robin. It has to be animal-like. Also it's just "my" so its one being. Plus this person/thing basically agreed with Nami when he called Nami clever. So the whole suspicious "hogback is related to the zombies" is probably true. Hogback bad.
Also…
Usopp: Wowzers!!!
THANK YOU MA'AM!hahaha priceless. good use of wowzers stephen
-
That invisible guy is as good as dead. He owes nami some money ;-)
-
What abouth Ace fight with black beard ?
If black beard defeat ace, then luffy has no change, he would have to undergo some kind of training to get stronger.

Lets see..experiments..zombies…ghosts..spirits..Bats..
anything this arc is missing??XD -

If it cost Usopp 100 thousand back then, plus the new 100 thousand, plus interest, that rounds to be about a Luffy's bounty.
-
I think the idea that Hoback is the invisible man is pretty much out. Its been shown so many ways that its unfeasible that I don't think its viable.
If I was going to do a crazy theory it would be that the invisible man is brookes shadow, quite literally. Metaphorically the shadow is a mans dark side and it would be quite literally an exageration and bestial expression of his id and personality. Hence the whole rape perversion angle.
At this point I wouldn't bet on it, but since it seems to be looney theory day I want to get my dibs in on this in case it turns out to be true. Then I can claim my laurels as an oracle.
Oh, and as a subset to that theory its possible that there are many "shadows" walking around.
Of course its far far more likely that the invisible man is a minion of Hogbacks and a new character.
-
If it weren't for the canine noises the invisible man was making, I'd think it was some kind of Chameleon Fruit. Sure, real chameleons can't be invisible, but it's within the realm of cartoonish plausibility. Plus there's the tongue thing…
We haven't seen a reptilian fruit yet, have we?
-

Interesting point you bring up! I wonder if we'll see any other Devil Fruit users on Thriller Bark besides Brook. A reptile fruit sound awesome! I'd like to see these powers, especially since they would be just right for the setting: mud, shit, spider, invisibility (I hope the invisible man has that!), any disease related powers (plague, necrosis, etc), anything morbid and disturbing (like turning into a giant tongue or something).
Sorry, I couldn't resist!Ooh, one more thing! Imagine if Dr. Kureha was there, it would be like this:
Chopper, Usopp, and Nami are fighting through the zombies and they see Dr. Kureha.Chopper: "Doctorine? What are you doing here?"
Nami: "Are you here to help us?"
Dr. Kureha: "Fuck you! I'm looking for a husband!"
Usopp: "Wha? Is it me?"
Dr. Kureha: "No, not you dumbass! One of THEM!"
Dr. Kureha points to the masses of zombies.

Usopp = Inspector Gadget?

I'll take this time to point this out: her breasts are clearly fake. Look at those stitches on her chest…
Have u seen her thin hands. She must be Brooke operated on by Hogback so that he remembers nothing.
-
Gyojin.
Doflamingo Donquixote getting some Jinbei lovin'.
that be so cool
16 characters -
HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Fantastic ending! Precisely my thoughts at the end of 444.
"Uh Oda….you left all the heavy-hitters together in one group...."
PERFECT! ^O^
Like Hogback's design. Waiting for something to explode out of him.

HUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
I was just trying to point out how badly drawn Nami was. =)
