I sometimes wonder what would have happened if all the people effected by Luffy never met him. This goes for any character in the series.

Zoro: Deceased (Helmeppo would have killed him, NO WAY out of that)
Nami: Alive (Robbing PIrates, Money stolen from Curropt Marine, may have revolted or joined different group)
Usopp: Deceased (Kuro would have killed him)
Sanji: Alive/Deceased (COntinued to be a chef, unless Don Krieg killed him)
Chopper: Alive (Striving to be a Doctor with that wierd lady)
Nico Robin: Alive (Who knows???)

Heh, it would be kind of intersting to see a montage of alternate universes… You could think of it the other way around, like what would happen if they were just missing any one crew member. If they never found Nami, they probably wouldn't have got very far very fast. They would never have gone to Arlong Park, so Luffy's first bounty would be later down the line. They may not have recruited Chopper, because Nami wouldn't have been ill. Of course, if they never met Usopp, they probably wouldn't have Going Merry. ^_^ And without Sanji, they'd all be weak from malnutrition. XD And if they made to Arabasta, they'd all be dead without Mr. Prince.

Pretty much everybody would be screwed without luffy. One individual can make such a difference. Probably the same difference if Luffy hadn't eaten the gomu gomu fruit too. Especially when it comes to fighting off eneru and so on.

Well, he is the main character, so you can expect him to prevent a lot of bad things to happen or save a lot of lives…

Yosaku would have died to scurvy, leaving Johnny alone.
Whiskey Peak would still be thriving.
And Laboon would still be ramming the side of the reverse mountain.

The giants…right, can't remember thier names, but they'd wax figures. Huzzah and joy. Smoker would still be in Loguetown, as would Tashigi. Maybe Tashigi would get her hands on Wadou at some point since if Zoro gets killed off then his swords stay in possesion of the Marines, and perhaps Tashigi would collect it. I'm sure there's more, but I have art stuffs to do.
