i forget what scarecrow looked like in the last movie, but i think he looks cool in this one. as for the one in The batman…I wouldn't even vote for the live action scarecrow to look like TAS one. I can't stand the charicter designs in The batman.

@Lobster:
It's a shame that Two Face never actually gained any superpowers from the incident..
so sad
The Coin and a simple flip was all the superpowers Two Face needed.
Edit; oh and about the pic of Two Face, it don't scream Gangster for some reason or Big Bad Harv.
-
hey ya, your right. maybe cause all the 2 faces before were stylized, so it was easy to convey that. maybe with clothes, or body language, he will be more convincing.
-

Fixed that and now.

No I don't think so, the guyActor just don't look like he can be taken serious. Much like the Scarecrow.
-

O.O
HE LOOKS THE SAME =}
-
Seriously. He looked like this in the last movie.
.> Wait. Something's drastically wrong. I'm not wearing any pants.
-
I agree about Scarecrow in the last movie, he was suppose to be one of thee villains but he goes bye bye simply by being tazed by Katie Holmes.
-
I found Scarecrow very good in Batman Begins. The fact that he actually behaved like some kind of corrupt shrink and his mask was introduced very logical was one of the biggest plus points of the movie for me. The times were the villains are one-dimensional maniacs that looked exact as in the comics are over, thanks God.
And I'm sure Scarecrow will have his big moment in The Dark Knight, just as Victor Zsasz will have. Maybe not in The Dark Knight, but in one of the following movies.
-

For the most part, Scarecrow's never one of the 'strong' villians in the Batman Universe. Physical fighting was nowhere near his forte, his major assets being his Phsychology background and, of course, his fear toxin.
Katie Holmes taking him down so easily with the taser suited this fact, IMO, even if it was a smidge anticlimactic.
-
And I'm sure Scarecrow will have his big moment in The Dark Knight,
Really?
I was imagining him getting defeated within the first 5 minutes.
-Batman jumps on the car & sends Scarecrow to jail (never to be seen again in the film after that)
-Cleans up 100% of the other Gotham criminals
-Joker says we need a better class of criminaletc..
-

It reminds me of his 90s animated series look.
-
I gotta say, I've really miss the Joker.
What other genius gives Batman a Christmas present, and then when Batman opens it, it turns out to be a spring that slams a pie into his face?
-
You know, something like that is actually funny considering how serious a guy Bats is. I'd love if TDK ended like that. :p
-
@Lobster:

someone said he looks different….
-
@Freeman-12:

I just don't see Big Bad Harv in him.
-
People said the same about Bale and look at how great he's turned out.
-
Playing Big Bad Harv and Playing Batman are really two diff things.
-
Both are multi-facial characters, can't be too much of a difference.
At least wait to condem him until you see the film.
-
Hmmmmmmmm….OK, his performance better prove to be something cuz he ani't got the look.
-

-Joker says we need a better class of criminalYeah, and because everybody is actually thinking that, I think there will happen something entirely different with him. An ending like that wouldn't do the character justice, for that they didn't build him up in the first movie.
-
This movie had better end with Gordon showing Batman a card with a question mark on it.
-
Considering the realisticness they're going with these movies, safe to say when the Riddler does show up they're gonna make the entire movie one big brain fuck after another.
-
I say the Riddler be played by Crispin Glover, he already lost his shot at the Joker to a big name celebrity, and he'd be so perfect at it. And I'm not even just saying that because I'm a fan. I'm saying it because that is like, the role he was born to play. He's tall and skinny, he can act weird if it's anything like the old Riddler (please god no) and he can play a genius really, really well.
Of course, I just wasted my mini-rant if there is no one from the movie crew reading these boards.
-
So we're doing speculations now about what villain will be next? Since Nolan dug out so many bad guys the general public does not even know (Falcone, Zsasz) I really think finally some of my favorite villains actually do have a chance to star in a movie, like Killer Croc, the Ventriloquist or the first Clayface.
I would really like to see some of the unrealistic villains, but considering Nolan thought even of the Penguin to be far-fetched, I can't imagine who could be star in the following movies and who not (Nolan has a strange point of view about the villains anyway … he didn't even want to give Scarecrow a mask, for example, Goyer had to talk him into).
-
Jim Carey could play he Riddler again. He's already crazy, and can be more serious if needed. After all, he was in that movie "The Number 23". (supposedly)
I'd rather see him play Carnage in the next Spiderman movie though. So I don't really care if someone else gets his old Riddler role.
-
Finally saw the trailer last night. My god Joker looks awesome in this movie.

Concerning future villains:
I don't want to see Hugo Strange. I never understood the appeal of him. He's kinda the clichque evil genius who uses his brain to come up with diabolical schemes. Nothing special there.
I kinda do want to see Mad Hatter. Based off his characterization in Arkam Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth. Murderous man with ambiguously pedophillic intentions who bases all his crimes off of Alice in Wonderland.
I also demand to see DC's second greatest assassin, Deadshot.
I also want to see Mr. Freeze get the cinematic portrail he deserves. An emotionally-troubled man rather than big muscleheaded governator of California. Also, Man-Bat.
-
I predict the Penguin being in the next movie. And Robin never joining this franchise.
-
@Freeman-12:

That would be to redundant.
-
I just realized something that at first made me upset, but then made me happy.
No Harle Quinn. They would most likely make her "cute and sexy" more than funny, and Harle is meant to be funny above all.
However, Harle would slow down the evil of "Heath" Joker. If the Joker in the movie was as crazy and funny as the one in the 90s cartoon, then I would be a bit upset over it.
Who should play Harle if she were ever in?
-
i love harl, but i don't know if i want her in the live action. maybe if the live action was silly like the speed racer movie…but I'm not going to go see that either...
-
If Joker is in the 3rd movie then Harley Quinn should definitely be in it.
They would most likely make her "cute and sexy" more than funny, and Harle is meant to be funny above all.
I'm sure that they could do both if they really tried.
Who would play her… maybe that girl from the movie Enchanted? That could work.
Even though we now have to use a different Joker. :( -
Actually, Harley Quinn is supossed to be funny, as well as cute and sexy. Though I find no sex appeal in white make-up.
Also a member of the Harley Quinn fan club. Maybe she could get her own movie if they followed a story from the comics. An origin movie.
-
I'm thinking they're not even going to entertain the idea of using Catwoman for the next 5 years, we still need some time to clear our minds of that god awful movie.
Is it likely they'll one day throw in a better version of Bane? Maybe after they give Batman a couple other crazy villains to deal with first?

Must. Have. Arnold Wesker…
-
@Yuugi's:
Must. Have. Arnold Wesker…
….. a picture of Albert Wesker appears in his head
We can have Catwoman again, as long as it isn't Halle Berry anymore. It's not that she's black, I just don't like her being ANY superhero (including Storm, Halle is too weak to be "THE GODDESS" of the X-Men).
The major thing about Catwoman coming back (if she comes back). Batman's currently little girl friend needs to die. I'm praying the Joker will accomplish that. Most superhero movies, I hate when the "girlfriend/boyfriend" type dies. However, I want this one to die.

Didn't know there was someone out there who didn't like Halle being cast as Storm the only strike against her in that role was the lack of an accent.

Or or they could just write her out of the next film altogether or have her dump Bruce.
-
I actually didn't think Catwoman was that bad. Not that is was an epic movie or anything, but I don't see where all the hate generates from.
At least it was entertaining and interestingly stylized.Same thing with "Batman Forever", and "Batman and Robin". They were pretty funny movies.

You have a weird sense of humor but then again this is Arlong Park. Also I don't really hear much complaining about Batman Forever, Batman & Robin is usually treated as the black sheep of the original quadrilogy George Clooney,Alicia Silverstone, & Arnold didn't exactly do the movie any favors. Even George Clooney himself knows how bad the movie was and how some movie goers may have felt displeased with the movie.

Black rubber nipples = DO NOT WANT

One of the main reasons I hate Halle Berry as Storm is because Halle hates the role. I'm sorry, you're the first black female to win an award for acting, and you complaining about playing the coolest and best black female superhero of all time? Go swim in your pile of money bitch!
I'm just to used to deal with Storm in her 90's series accent. THAT is how Storm should ALWAYS be.
-
why did she take the roll if she didn't like it?
-
-
Yea as a supporting character the X-Men movies have pretty much always been about Logan.
-
-
steps over KoF's post
Anyway. The aim movie makers constantly make with Halle to be sexy makes me worry. I mean, Halle is a beautiful woman. But I see movies for enertainment and storylines, not breasts. The internet is for porn.
This is one thing that makes me happy with Halle and Storm in the X-Men movies. She wasn't a sex symbol. She was Storm. A weak Storm, but Storm non-the-less.

Shit, that scared me. Mainly cause I wasn't expecting it, I thought it was just gonna keep repeating so I went to close it then "BAM"! I've seen this guy before I think in some meme. What's the movie?

Hahaha it made me go lol. :) HARD
