Well, I made this thread because me a greg were talking about the role of the joker.

They still havent found an actor to play Harvey Dent/two face. Who do you think would be a good one? He has to be around Christian Bale's age or appear to be at least.

Jamie Foxx, Josh Lucas, and Edward Norton are being considered for the role of Harvey Dent/Two-Face. Lucas has already met with producers about the role. Matt Damon was offered the role but passed.

I was thinking of Matt damon but he passed on the role. He would of been good. Ed Norton would be good if they can make him a little younger, in which they can. Jamie Foxx is a good actor but i just dont see him in this role at all.

• It doesn't appear as if Oswald "The Penguin" Cobblespot will be in The Dark Knight.

I am not sure who would be a good Oswald either. He would be a lil older. Joe Pesci? I dont know.

I've recently become a Batman fan, but I till don't think I'd accept this. After Jim Carrey, George Clooney, "Gotham Must Die," and the threat of Heath Ledger as Joker.

My best bet for Two Face was always Will Defoe, but he's like 90 and already played the Green Goblin.

A few years back during the "Marvel vs DC" crossover, Marvel and DC merged the two unverses and characters together to make a new "Amalgam Comics" universe, and Two Face and Norman merged into "Two-Faced Goblin". Pointless fact, I know, but after hearing Will as a possible Two Face (I agree. He's well suited for the role), I thought it was an interesting point.

Anyway, from what I've read, it sounds interesting what they're doing with Harvey and what it may lead to for a third film. I look forward to hearing more about it.

This is GREAT news. I wouldn't have expected it, but Aaron Eckhart is a great actor AND in my opinion is a good choice for the character…at least a better choice than certain other actors who might be good but I just can't think of them as the Joker....

I dunno about u ppl, but Heath just doesn't look like Joker. …and if u ask me, they should use Arkham Asylum Joker's design for the movie. That design is undoublty THE BEST Joker I've ever seen.

I was on Superhero Hype and I noticed the Manipulation of Eckhart that was done. Personally it is fantastic. I hope this is how Nolan goes.

The way I read it, the photo they reported on earlier was a fake while the test one was not. But that's coming from their jumbled ramblings.

My favorite Batman comic is The Long Halloween, which also has my favorite Harvey Dent in the series. If they can make The Dark Knight's Dent as awesome as The Long Halloween's Dent, then I'll be a happy man.

And I'm a little skeptical of Heath Ledger as the Joker, but we'll see how it goes; I thought Batman Begins was quite good for a superhero flick, so I have a good amount of faith in this follow-up. Arkham Asylum and The Long Halloween had awesome Jokers while The Killing Joke had the most human Joker; we'll see what direction the Nolan brothers decide to go.

While I still have my doubts on Heath Ledger, The Dark Knight will probably be great regardless after "Batman Begins". My main worry is that they may end up having both Joker and Two-Face as villains where the best idea would be to focus on Batman/Joker with Dent's descent into madness as the sub-plot only to become Two-Face at the end to set up for the next movie. (and hopefully he won't be as hammy as Tommy Lee Jones, whoever gets him)

I think the website thing (with the Joker laugh everywhere) is creepier than the Joker pic itself.

As for no origin, well it is at least continuity with the last movie (where Gordon and Batman discover the first signs of the Joker at the end) so I didn't expect an origin anyway. Do we really need to see the acid scene for him? (though I do find it more interesting we may actually get a Two-Face origin as opposed to just mentioned as it already happened like in "Batman Forever")

Lights are flashing. You hear a VA of Bruce and Alfred talking about Gotham and it's trust. That happens for about a min. Then you hear Joker say something like "Tonight everyone dies. Hahahaha!" Then the logo comes up.
