Well, they do take breaks semi-frequently with One Piece.
But… It's gonna happen. The anime is very close to the manga right now, so they gotta take their time so that they don't surpass the manga.

The fact that they're STILL doing it this long after the move is troubling me somewhat actually. Not to mention the 100% useless Gold Roger crap.

It's become almost 15 minutes of new material per episode.
I fully understand/support the idea that they have to pace themselves but they had to know when the comic would have finished EL long ago. They have an almost infinite amount of time to play with…in fact they have for a few months now. So I dunno why it's still a shit fest.
The level of animation is one thing I can't complain about, but the actual product being dulled down when it doesn't need to be is troubling.

Wahahaha! Actually the animation was PURE SHIT from the jump across the waterfall to Luffy Lucci. Those episodes could be reason enough for me to stop watching. Like… really shitty, episodes. I've never been so dissapointed since that time Alien's ubducted my uncle and forced him to boil and eat me!
Although, I actually think that EL can be good, since they can just do a fucking filler once they get back to Water 7. They have alot of time, too. This is ridiculous, but Skypiea had a pretty bad deal, too.
I keep telling myself that it will get really good once Luffy reaches Gear 3. If it isn't, I am utterly and completely leaving the Anime of One Piece (and just reading the Manga; right now I do both).
