I really think that this forum should be something about all those f-words and s-words. I am heavily offended by those kinds of foul language, and I am both shocked and horribly disappointed at the amount of times that those words are used by people here.

But yeah seriously, I say no. It annoys the sh-errmmmm crap out of me when other forums do that. No matter where you go on the internet there is always going to be someone who says it. Same in real life. You can't just censor them out in real life (unless your on television..)

On topic: I try not to swear (whether IRL or on the internet). However, I think it would be unfair to censor swear words, thus limiting what people are allowed to say. Don't forget that swear words allow people to express certain emotions that are impossible to convey otherwise on the net.
… I'm in no position of limiting people from using bad words since I use them in One Piece translation and some others, but... please do not use it intentionally. I kind of liked how we didn't censor those words but people didn't use them excessively. But seeing how some of you post in this thread made me very disappointed.
Staff board was actually talking about it, so you'll see our decision when something happens. Or doesn't happen. Whatever.
I personally do not like swearing, particularly in excess, but I don't think it's something that should be forced on all people. We did discuss the idea of filtering out some words, but, people usually just figure out ways around it anyway.
We would appreciate it, however, if people tried to keep their language at a PG-13 level and use at least a little restraint.
