No wavers were depicted in W7, that I recall; transportation was handled by Yagara Bull. However, wavers were everywhere in Skypiea, an island technologically capable of building an airship. Franky built Thousand Sunny overnight because he had help from Iceberg, Paulie, Lulu, and Tilston-all excellent shipwrights. As a result, all of the Strawhats' belongings could be loaded onto it before their departure the next day. Judging by the timeframe given for Ace catching up to Blackbeard, and "three days ago" being set as the time of their battle from the perspective of the current storyline, Franky has only been on board for the past three days. From the handles I say it's the skypeida waver. Looks like franky just reforced with some of the adam wood and gave it the horse head to fit with the others.
Makes sense since before it had no real way of getting on and off the boat.

so, we are running in circles. let's wait till it's actually showed to us. a post out of 2 says that it's an enhanced waver while the other post says it's something else.
now just wait and see which side will proudly scream "i was right!". which will lead us nowhere anyway.
i'm much more interested in the submarine which will obviously be useful for mermaid island and we could also discuss what could franky put in the remaining system.

I don't see what the big fuss is about. Oda wouldn't have used the word 'waver' if it wasn't a waver. I just read the chapter, figured Nami's waver had been upgraded, and moved right along. It seems like people have a tendancy to look way too deep into somethings. I mean, there are aspects you should be looking into, but this isn't one of them.

For the 100th time, Kokoro said it "Would not be a problem" getting to Gyojin island, meaning there's probably an undersea tunnel or something that allows people to breathe/function while underwater.
