sarcasm
Anyway, I was browsing ebay, when I noticed this:
Some guy burns 447 chapters of manga onto two CDs and tries to sell them. This isn't the least bit legal.

Eh, anything goes on ebay. (even toenail clippings)
They'll be more cause for alarm if this sort of thing goes into mass distribution from more established online anime vendors.
The thing is, I'd love to buy (a legitimate version of) it.
I saw a package in the impulse-buy sector of Fry's (large computer shop) recently that was like "all 800 billion issues of X-Men on a disc"
If done well, it could be very cool for a manga too.
I can see useful things like being able to search SBS or a text script, print scaled-up versions of things like the Kaku Bank project page, blow up a page to fill a 21" screen so I can look for Pandaman, or easily skim 100 chapters for the page which makes the desired point in a forum posting.
Books are great, but putting the information where a computer can use it does have potential benefits.
why on earth would anyone want to do that… we have great people doing this for us (really cool by the way) ^_^

It gives people money.
The quality would probably be awful
Well, I meant to get a legitimate version. I'm fairly certain if you had the resources of Shueisha or Viz to work with, you could produce a really high-quality product.
I suppose a major problem would be pricing. They'd want to charge ($8 x 45) $360 for it so as to not undercut their volumes.
It also seems like he's using scanlations, so the hard work of people like Null are getting their work sold and not getting a dime of it.
I say people should do some complaining, not like it'd do any good tho.
Like Buuhan said, it's hard to believe he'd scan his own collection [if he has one], RAW collection, and sell it expecially at that kinda price..
He probably got ready scanlations/raw scans that someone else did, and he gets all the money. Really disturbing if he uses scanlation [NULL definitely will hate this].
Oh wait… he actually said it's in English. lol
Anyways... You can download one torrent having it all easily.
I'd buy it!!!!!
No, not really, but that got your attention, right?
If eBay didn't have negative marks I'd probably buy it just so I could run off without paying so his auction never goes through.
Actually I hope Viz or Shuisha has it taken down. I mean, only an idiot would buy it, since you can downlaod all of them from a torrent anyways.
I've seen a bootleg manga of vol. 35 and some other ones. Man, all this bootlegging needs to end.
I am just curious because of how bad the translations would be. Knowing that idiot it would probably just be NULL's scan
This has been going on for years actually (selling scanlations on eBay). Nothing new.
