Other than trussel's one, I don't think that there are any others out there that actually do that. If you know katakana, I don't think you need to see the Romajii

Well, yeah, I guess asking for the Romajii way of spelling it is a bit moot. But I guess all I'm asking for is for a site that converts an english name into katakana characters.

the only one I know of would be www.freedict.com though it doesn't do katakana, you could however make it so that your computer can type katakana so once you find out the word write it yourself.

I don't think it's taking the "eeee" sound into account. I would spell your name ジェシー.

Yeah, I was entering in my name and I don't think it really works as well as it should. It changes the sounds unecessarily. Like I don't know why it insists on using "ze" instead of "je". Is the ze sound closer to an English Je or something?

Or would it be Ma, small tsu, tsu. So Mattsu. Adding a small tsu though really doesn't change anything other then I have two T's now.

In my Japanese classes, my teachers told people named Matthew to do it as マッシュー (Masshuu), from what I remember… The "th" sound is written as an "s" in Japanese most of the time. ^^

The actual writing, I dunno.
THe exact sounds who knows you'll probably end up with ones that don't exist if you guess.

Notice how the ends look smaller.ル= ru
フ = fu
ィ = ieカ = ka
リ = ri
フ = fu
ァ = aBut when you put "fu", and a smaller "a" together, it cancels out the "u", making "fa".

I don't know how the Japanese pronunciation would be, but when I see Jessu I assume the u on the end is mostly silent, but Jesse is pronounced Je-see (like sea).

It's the same pronunciation as Jessie, yep. ジェス is Jess (like maybe short for Jessica, or something).
Lucky for me my name works in both languages.

OK, I got a question- is there one site that writes down what the Japanese word is read as? For example there's a Japanese word that is to be read as 'Vanessa', and I get an equivalent of it (Banetha for example).

I don't think "V" is a normal part of Japanese.
I think Vanessa would be either バネッサ or ヴァネッサ but someone who knows Japanese would know better. -
Either one works fine, but I'd probably use ヴァネッサ.
