Dragon Quest-Blissful Hope

~The Story~

Seven Hundreds of years ago, a great evil once loomed upon this world. An evil known as Deryx XIII-An Organization that Follows the Dark Knight's Code, people who have been brainwashed by the darkness of Mikaze, Lord of Hatred who was destroyed by a band of heroes. This Organization began to spread on a hundred years after Mikaze's defeat. However, it was then a group of brave warriors stood up against them and they were defeated for good, however, that was what they thought.

Present Day AXIII 468 in this tale. 700 Years since that Organization was stopped. Technology has moved into a new age (Say-something similar to the technology of Final Fantasy XII), same went with economy, towns, and even the High Royal Cities but the vast world out there outside of new towns and cities has not changed one bit at all. However, one day something weird happens in 19-year-old Daisuke's town. Something that has him sensing the presence of an ancient evil.

Introduction ~Aryglyph~

In the start of the morning, Daisuke Nakano woke up again, in such annoyance and grieve knowing he had forgotten to wake up early to meet up with Buuhan.

He took a small sigh and rush down the stairs, eating his breakfast in a bit of a rush, his older sister was a little bit confused with the scene since its not much he eats breakfast.

While taking a bite of his grilled fish and another bite from his rice bowl, rushing with his chopsticks, Miyaka Nakano commented, "Jeez Dai, do you really enjoy my cooking that much ^__^"

"Heh! You know I've always have but just I'm always busy around anything-Just glad I dont have any work on magic or any assignments today, really getting bad at Healing Mahou(magic)."

"Goes to show you need to try on getting more into your studies instead of messing around -_-"

He chatisized his sister, "I know~! I know~!" Soon as he managed to finish most of his meal, he nodded and headed out for the door, Miayaka taking off her apron then yelled out, "Where are you going?!"
Yelling back on his way running, just a few feet from his house and running through the streets, "I have to meet Buu outside of town~!"

She slapped her forehead, "That stupid brother."

Outside of town, a line of tall trees made a path outside of the big town towards the open world, in the vast grassy fields. Heading into a sfae tree near the deeper parts of the forrests, he sat down holding his two swords-One a large one he names "Rune" and the second sword, a katana, named-Yanagi.

Looking at the sky, with a cool breez in his mind, he often asked himself seeing as how he was acting last night, "I wonder if Buuhan will show up today-I wonder…..Zzzzzzz...Zzzzz..."

He fell asleep. Fow a while, he did, maybe about for 12 minuites or so, then only to be woken up by....
"Oww~!!" He noticed a hand in karate shop position on top of his head. It was Ben "Buuhan" Drews.

In a calm voice, "Hey stupid XD I thought you said we were here for official work, not to laze our asses off."

"Shut up!" He groaned, "I fell alseep okay? I didn't know what would happen or anything so stop it."
"Cant take a little playing around, cant you Dai? So let me get this straight~You've been getting some weird nightmares of some hot girl getting kidnapped or being taken away by the shadows of an ancient evil, right? You sure you're feeling well?"

"Quiet, I am okay?! I dont know why but that dream…She was also playing some song with such a beautiful voice, I couldn't even dare to dream or fantasize about, I dont really know -_-"

For a while, the two decided to take the time and think and talk about his dreams and foreseeing senses for a while, not knowing else or so much of it, they were confused thinking of what this was all about.

"Kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!" A young girl's voice was heard through the forrest, Daisuke yelled, getting Rune out in battle mode, "Buu, that voice is familiar, I dont know but we better hurry~! Someone's in danger!"

Buu nodded with a smirk, drawing his gigantic axe weapon-Lion Bane and both made a run for it towards the forest.

Soon as they were able to arrive, in their sight, was a beautiful young girl, in her knees trembling against a gigantic troll. The two quickly made a dash for it, swooping in front of the mysterious beauty setting their weapons at the troll.

"That's it, you're going down~!!" Buu yelled, jumping towards its ugly face, managing to slash it with his axe hard. The monster gave out a screech as its blood sprayed out hard, Dai hmmed, "Now its my turn~!"

The troll took a swing of its hard violent club at Dai, but avoided it, with a close call by slidding under it, then with all his might, impaling its damn ugly face with Rune. The troll died and its body disappeared.

Two of them rushed up and help the girl get up, Dai thought flushed, She's more beautiful than I seen in my dreams"

Buu asked, "Say, what's your name anyway and what's a young lady like you doing in a forest like this? Best to be careful, there are trolls hanging here from the mountains every few days of the month, you could have gotten yourself killed."

She sniffed wiping some tears from her face, "I'm sorry…"
Daisuke patted her in the shoulder, "Its okay, dont worry. The only thing I'm glad is that you're safe and you didn't get killed, kay?"

"Kay.." She said shyly, and she answered Buu's question, "My name...My name is Rebecca...."

Buu smiled and declared, "Best if we take her home to town Dai, looks like she isn't from here..."

He nodded back, and as the two walked the path to town, he remembered a vision in his dream before she was eaten in the shadows which nearly happened if they didn't come...

"No doubt about it, she's the girl who's been appearing in my dreams but-Who is she exactly?'

Adventure One ~Rebecca~

Buu and Dai decided to take the liberty on taking a long walk home, and by long walk, I mean on the way, talking to Rebecca so much, they almost lost concentration on getting back to his house.

Walking through the mall districts passing some restaurants, Buu looked at Dai suspicously, him talking to her like they're both chummy with each other or something, thus he let out a mutter, "Hmmm, I wonder did Dai set me up-? Does he have a new girlifrend or something and did he even set up that troll to look heroic?"

Tapping his shoulder, he announced, "Hey Buu, I can hear everything you're muttering out "
In a sudden anger, he stretched Dai's face screaming out, "DONT THINK YOU'RE SUCH HOT SHIT WITH THAT ATTITUDE YA BRAT~!"
Dai did the same to his face yelling back, "OI~! SHUT THAT PERSONALITY OF YOURS, THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU HAVE TO DO IT TO MY FACE~!!!"

Rebecca looked akwardly at the two friends making their weekly bickering and arguing. Heh, weekly? More like usual, but they get over it soon.

In Daisuke's home, Miyaka's face formed a smile a little bit but at the same time, made a mellow expression but at the same time, an expression screaming out tease-your-brother-mode, "Brother, how come you didn't tell me you had a girlfriend "
Daisuke blushed furiously and Buu laughed, "I knew it, I knew it ~!! A onee-chan can always tell your secrets Dai-MMfhhhhhhhhggg~!!"

At that, Dai decided to slam him against the wall, with a bit of a temper, then releasing that steam with a sigh. "Hey quit it-Ohhffff~!!"

Buu slammed him down to the floor and grinned holding him by his collar on top of his body," :sideways: Where's your god now Dai-Owww~!!"

He then slugged Buu in the face, "You sick~! The hell did you get on top of me?! If you wanted to whoop my ass back, you could have done it some way more better~!!"

Buu argued again screaming, "Oh Yeah~!? Well I'll-" Slap~! Seems Miyuki finally exploded in her temper and slapped both boy's backs knocking them down on the floor, "Bakas."

Rebecca seemed to worry a bit, "Miss, will they be okay :wassat: ?"
She smiled back, "Heh, I do this to them every time they argue too much :happy: "

Later that day in lunch, Dai had explained everything to his sister, from how she's been in his nightmares, how she's suddenly gotten all chummy with him when they began talking for a while, and how that troll tried to kill her.

For a while, Miyuki's face was completely blank in discontent and confusion, she stated taking a bite of her pasta, "Weird brother. So, sh doesn't exactly know you but she feels she's met you before.."

"Confusing indeed. I dont even know if she means by she forgot me in the nightmares or its someone I've known once but forgotten, fucking confusing~!"

In for an answer as usual, Buu drank his juice and pointed out, "It can go both ways..I dont really know..Say Re-chan?" He called to her as if that was her new nickname, "By feeling you've met Dai before, can you tell me in what feeling?"

She flustered, "I dont really know that much well to be honest. But the only thing I remember, or more or less feel is..We've met a year ago, in a forest."

Suddenly, Dai then warped in back through memory train, as if that very sentence triggered his deep lost memories, it was a year ago, when he was 18. He was walking through the forests doing his usual, and he'd seen a beautiful girl playing a white harp in a tree stump, surrounded by woodland animals and monsters alike to watch her play. That then, Dai fell in love with her. He and her talked and she said her name was Rebecca, and she had said she was one of the Seven Hikari(Light) Maidens that were in danger of being killed a darkness that wants them gone for good. Then Dai made a vow that he will do his best to protect her. She kissed him in the cheek and then stated her name was Rebecca and she dissapeared into the forests as Dai's memories were suddenly erased like she didn't want him involved no matter what he said. After that incident, he forgotten everything and so did Rebecca who didn't want to endanger anyone.

As soon as that flash of memory came to his mind, he gasped, "Rebecca~! I remember you now, when we met that day, when you told me about the Hikari Maidens, when I fell in love-" He covered his mouth full straight thinking, "Crap."

She nodded shyly twirling some bangs on her brown silky hair, "Its true~I am a powerful Maiden with a high power of magic born in me. I was defenseless against that beast..because most of my magic combats haven't been mastered yet fully unfortunately."

In surprise, Dai thought a bit that she wasn't surprised or freaked when he said the last part before covering his own mouth.
Buu joins in the conversation, "Besides Dai's romantics, Why is it you're appearing in your dreams being killed by some darkness?"

Rebecca nodded nervously like she had no idea why and Dai thought a bit, "If me and Buu had not saved her from that Troll, she would have died..Thank goodness I followed my senses.."

Dai answered, "Maybe..She's been appearing in my dreams because…" He gulped afraid of his own speculation, "That darkness is getting closer or worse, that darkness has begun."

Everyone in the dinning room freezed and Rebecca made a face as if he was right or something, she began to get scarred, "Dai....Help me...."
Buu's face grew more nervous, "Damn, if you think about it, That mountain Troll was a Higher Class than the usual ones that roam the forest area-Whoa~!!"

Monsters~! Three "Hell's Gatekeeper" Knight Monsters crashed into the dinning room through the glass window, many towns people were outside shrieking of the three beasts that came in the house~

Dai and Buu got their weapons into full gear, "Hell's Gatekeepers?! This is nuts, and these only live in the volcanoes in the continent north~!!"
Buu smirked, "We have no choice, dont we? Lets rip em apart~!!"

One of them took a lunge for Dai who ducked it's sword bane slash, the two managed to last against them, but in the end, as one was left, both were bleeding severely and Miyuki and Rebecca watched in horror of the violent scene.

Daisuke coughed some blood, "Dammit....This is bad...These monsters are too high leveled.."

The Hell's Gatekeeper then raised its sword for a final attack and Rebecca who was crying yelled out, "Nooooooooooooooooooooooo~!!!!!"

Suddenly, an outburst of holy light pressed on from her hand and a wave aura slash powerful as holy slashed from her hand and destroyed the monster. As soon as that attack ended Rebecca breathed heavily and fained in Dai's arms. He embraced her in a concerned manner as she closed her eyes.

Buu and Miyuki were speechless, "Wha-? What was...that? 0____0 "

Daisuke "Well, looks like we better set of on a journey to the Royal City of Hailoria to go visit Gaia the Sage~! He may know about what's going on with these attacks and what's with Re-chan's power. Its not far off from this town"

Buuhan "As much as how much I love journeys, we better be careful as hell or it will be the last of us, and we'll do our best to protect re-chan on our jounrey, that is a warrior's promise~!!"
