Yeah I'm also pretty excited to see 292, probably even moreso than the rest of the enies lobbies battles as I already know what happens in them from the scanslations. They seem to be doing a good job writing the yearly specials considering they are filler. Hopefully future filler arcs will be good like the G8 arc was. The into makes me think their will be a filler arc involving dinosaurs after enies lobby but that could just be random stuff made soley for the opening.

I have a question. I am having trouble accessing the torrent pages for ADC and Gerusama. Is anyone else? Also does anyone have the torrents from these sites or the files. My poor internet connection sometimes has trouble getting things downloaded.

perhaps adc and vega punk should co op and take turns subbing episodes. Cause vegapunk's episodes quality are just as good. So why not? vega did till 297, I am awaiting 298 myself but adc is having problems and hasnt release anything since 11feb and its 1st march now. So why not take turns? it will be even faster

^I think ADC-Elites cannot combine for they are part of this huge community. Like ADC itself and other ADC fansubbers (Italia, Germany, etc.) that are part of the ADC community. So that will force all of the groups to change their name.

That's not true. We are planning to release 292 during the next break (the next week that there is no new episode aired), unless ADC releases it before then. So, you may have to wait a little while, but you will definitely get 292, just not sure yet whether it will be ADC or Vegapunk.

I've been watching VP now for a while, but only cause i'm addicted, i don't usually change subgroups .. due to difference in translation some things are as they are with one .. but VP is almost just as good as ADC so why bother .. ADC seem to have some issues . let's just let them take their time

agreed, just 2 days ago i switched to VP after doing significant research on them.
i was all for ADC as they provided the latest episodes, when they failed to do so, i simply switched to an alternative source.end of the day, its where i get the latest episodes from.
got no beef with any group.im an avid OP watcher, thats all that counts.

For some reason I find this so ironic. Anywho, I watched Vegapunk's quality in 298 and was like omg, this is beautiful. My suggestion is for all the adc fanboys, to wait until March 11th for an update, thats one month after the last one. If there isn't a huge update, I suggest moving on. If Wickio is swamped, I am sure he feels bad he can't get everything done, feels bad that people are waiting on the favorite show when they can proceed, but doesn't want to end the group. Ever since Laeliel left we never fully recovered, the group went a lot slower and I don't see a reason or any motivation really they would have to do all the back work.
P.S. We used to be a constant Monday, if not Sunday(this is when it premired Sunday morning too) release. -
I'm sure Wickio would probably move on if he/she were in our shoes (depending on how low his/her OP withdrawl is). There is no reason for him/her to be mad or anything at us, since he/she might be way too busy with the duties that life demands of us to insure a happy future and some of us are too anxious to see what 292 holds in store for us.
If you want an explanation, wait for one, it's not like writing about it is going to get you one any faster.
Why not ask Franky to get in touch with Wickio or someone else that might be closer to him and ask them to give you an update?

I can't I know as much as anyone else here. But how can someone come to a conclusion without having any facts.
I did, myself check out vegapunk's subs on youtube last night. Just cause I wanted to continue on with the story, but I'd really like to stick with ADC for my downloads. So, I'm still willing to wait patiently for an update.
College and univercities ar done in about a month, right, so maybe then, Wickio and the gang will pick up where they left off. I'm sure if they decided to throw in the towel, they would make an announcment saying so, so we could move on.

It has nothing to do with being special and i meant it seems like your defense of him is more appropriate for that "friend" crack you made.
When you post updates saying we will post this and this soon or this and this tomorrow and suddenly just disappear? That seems pretty unprofessional to me. I'm not bashing ADC or anything i am grateful for all they have done in the past, but its little things like these that irraitate me. Also what is your point anyway? You just come off as blatant fanboy bias right now..

ya, they said they would update soon, and then didn't. Ya, that is "unprofessional" but that's the thing. They're not professional. Your holding them to too high of standards. They're just some guys in their bacment playing on their computer. Even if they did promice that soon, what is more important; putting out fansubs for people you don't even know, and will never meet, or getting passing grades in univercity, that you paid lots of money for. If Wickio did keep up with the fan subs, and failed school, I would say he is an idiot.
How do you know something didn't happen to him. Maybe his mother is dying and he has to be by her side. Maybe he won the lottery, and is taking a trip around the world.
I'm not a fanboy, but I don't think it is fair to critisize someone without knowing the facts. I'm just about being nice here.

is that aimed at me, or the other guy? Professional is someone who does something for a profession. Fansubing isn't a profession. Selling bootlegs is, but not fansubbing. Hense the name. As it is done by the fans for fun. not for money.
We ain't offering them anything for their services, so they have no obligation to us. If I said, here's $10 I want you to sub the OP omake, then, ya, they would have to answer to me, or give me my money back. But we give them nothing, so they don't have to give us diddly shit.
That's why all the whining towards the fansubbers annoys me. They don't deserve it. They owe us nothing.

Laeliel was the one who left a while ago, she was the translator. I took a semester break around 290 and Doofus took over timing. And no the Elites is my baby, if it dies then I am never returning to the One Piece fansubbing world.

Honestly, it is. I myself am in college and can tell you that time is a precious commodity. The only reason I can even type this, and clean, is because next week is finals week so I'm not swamped with tons of work.

and i have all episodes on my pcbecause here the sub is still at 294 i decided to download some episodes at vegapunk
and i must say that i am disappointed because the quality is not as good as adc's and in the episodes are some laggs so the sound runs but the video stopps
and i am not going to download any episodes from vegapunk anymore -

and i am not going to download any episodes from vegapunk anymorei didnt face any such problems. ur download may have stopped at around 99%. re-check/re-start/re-hash it thru ur download client (utorrent or azureus)
on a side note, i was satisfied with VP.
