So i was reading chapter 441 and i came across a very interesting quote. BB said he was waiting on WB's crew for the darkness fruit. He said he recognized the fruit a fellow crewmate got as the darkness fruit and therefore killed him and ate it himself.
My question is, how did he know it was the darkness fruit? In all of the past stories, no one had any idea what powers the fruit they ate held. Just in the last arc when Kaki and Karifa ate the fruits, spandam said they had no idea what powers were in the fruits.
This leads me to think that there is either a secret log of all the DF's that WB's crew or BB has that no one knows about or, wait for it, theres duplicates of the same df's and BB found out by watching another person eat the same fruit therefore recognizing it.
I realize thats a stretch, but i dont recall anything rejecting the idea of multiples of the same fruit.
Anyways, what do you guys think on how BB recognized the DF? Also if i missed something please feel free to point it out.
