While I appreciate the fast, decent-quality scanlation, I have to say it's one of the stranger scanlations I've read recently language-wise. It feels strangely more westernized than the other groups I've seen doing OP (Null/Rush/Franky House/NBST/etc.). Is this deliberate? I can't imagine Oda saying 'Fro.

Indeed it is, apologies for not specifying that as I usually would, such is the price of posting when I'm semi-asleep, yes, Binktopia are a mainly Bleach (But slowly expanding) scanlation team who're known for being liberal. Some people hate us, some people love us, some don't mind as long as it's quick.

Feel free to draw your own conclusions and make your own criticism, but yes, the structure of the language is different, so I really should have mentioned that to a community we're new to (But hopefully can contribute to in the future) so please view this post as a disclaimer.

P.S. Every single piece of cleaning in this chapter was done by thatbabo, and it was still pretty fast, though I have to mention kokotaz and Cez, who did a great, speedy job too, so it just goes to show you that thatbabo is a living machine who requires no rest, hopefully we'll increase manpower and therefore speed on our OP releases shortly.

I like the quickness as well. The translation is a little more liberal than I like, but as long as I get the point of the chapter, I won't complain. If i don't like it, can always read it from someone else, right? So thanks for your contribution.

Frankly, I kinda prefer this. Except for Sanji calling the aquarium "pimp" (which was dumb, in my opinion), I'd much rather a translation be westernized, then peppered with loanwords. Really, only one line was a bit off (Zoro referencing Enel. Changed a bit too much).

I hope you guys do more One Piece in the future!

You really should make One Piece your main thing. If you did, you guys would become the offical scanlation team I trust most, 'cause you certainly deliver good quality.

Thanks for the kind words guys, very much appreciated, I'll be sure to pass them along to thatbabo who is the head of our One Piece team. (And when I say 'team' I mean he's getting the script from the splendiferous Mankai and then doing everything else, psychopath.*)

*You may think I'm calling him a psychopath to be amusing, but seriously, if I don't properly credit him, he'll break my legs… :sad:
