What's the codec to rip vids off of YouTube? Apparently, K-Lite doesn't have it 0_o

Argh, didn't work TT
-
Does this site work?
-
you can find some firefox plugins which will do it.
-
Yeah. Use the Videodownloader plugin for Firefox.

After reading some of these stuff, I updated my Firefox, got a videodownloader plugin, and downloaded a video off of YouTube.
You'll end up with an extension-less file, so you have to go to tools (on your wndows explorer), view tab, uncheck "Hide extension for known file types", rename the actual file with a ".flv" in the end. Next, you should get a flv player to watch it or you can convert it into another file type with Replay Converter. It's all pretty easy to do, so I'm glad I came across this topic today.
Got myself 3 good amvs to add into my collection :)

I don't use flashfox though.
-
Firefox, not flashfox. What is flashfox anyways?
If you don't use firefox, download it. imo, it's way better than IE.
-
Oops, mixed up a name of a friend with firefox.
Eh, my parents don't want to install firefox x.x
-
I just use VDownloader.

Use this:
http://vixy.net/flv_converterIt'll convert Youtube vids into several formats, (AVI, iPod MP4, etc.) so you don't have to install any extra codecs or programs.
