ok i'm new here but there is something came to my mind about the devil fruits

when blackBeard said that he studied the yami yami no mi fruit it makes me think how did he came to know about every Devil fruit ?

my theory is that there was pirates before studying the devil fruits Or Was It Gol D. Roger Who Was the First one to know all the devil fruits in the Grandline ?

when buggy eated the devil fruit he didn't know what kind of fruit though he ate it by mistake but he didn't know which devil fruit was it right ?

and now i really wanna know how did they found out about all the devil fruits ?

it makes me think too much :wassat:

That's maybe true but didn't kaku and kalifa didn't know about the Devil fruits they have eaten ? ( tell me if i'm wrong cause i don't remember that chapter very good )

so if vegapunk (the scientist ) made that book shouldn't cp9 know those 2 Devil Fruits ?

No, because those two fruits were unknown fruits. Some fruits have been cataloged in the book, while others are unknown… I do not know why, just so you know...

Only 2 person is capable of knowing what fruit is it in advance, Shanks and Blackbeard. They are in that kind of level.

So is it possible that BB had a friendship with Vegapunk (or whatever his name is) just to find out about DFs. I think it's very hard to learn about them in just books, because they are considered as legends and many people don't believe they exist.

Either that or BB has visited the place of their origin, and found out more there. IMO the place of their origin isn't just some normal island in the middle of the sea, it must be a place that is hard to get to.

BB stated he waited too long for that one to be found and he was studying that DF as he stated so propably WB know the history of the DF and everyone on WB crew know all of them

and the thing that making me confused that is BB stated that he went to WB just for the higher chance of finding that DF so i don't think that WB knows all of them cause he also stated that this DF known as the most evil DF that existed right ? so he propably know all of the DF out there and maybe not i just don't know
but what i'm sure of that he was studying The History of the DF and he found the most evil DF that existed

now i hope that ODA will give us a flashback about BB so we will know how he did find out about the history Of The Devil

i think the devils fruits probably originated from the ancient kingdom, they either knew how to make them or where they came from, i'm just pretty positive that the use and knowledge of the devils fruits either stems from or has something to do with the ancient civilization and/or raftel..

beyond that, i'm also pretty sure vegapunk has been studying/experimenting with the devils fruits using knowledge he has either learned himself or was given to him by the world government, which they would have had since the collapse of said ancient civilization.

when people in OP speak of the 'grandline scientists' figuiring out ways to manipulate DF abilities, merging them with inanimate objects, etc, you know vegapunk has something to do with it. i'm pretty sure he has either compiled all of the information himself, or already has some information and is working on putting together all the pieces of the puzzle of the DF.

which also makes you think…some of the DFs are eternal and godlike powers, most of the logias and even a few of the paramecias and zoans. some of the fruits don't even make sense, like the soap fruit. do you think vegapunk has figured out how to make his own DF, or at least influence what effect a fruit is going to have?

Its probably something to do with studying the "aura" around the fruit that allows people to know what the fruit contains.. And that is when they are cataloged.. But what I dont understand is if someone like vegabunk cataloged these fruits than why would they get eaten by other people. You would think that they would give it to the marines..

anyways BB said that he had waited for decades.. So its possible that Roger did something, but as of know we really dont know

It will be a while before we learn more about DFs; if Oda has plans to expand the story of DFs that is. I'm not buying the sea-devil cursing the fruit thing. There's gotta be a scientific explanation to this.

I've always wondered if the DF powers are permanent. What if a DF just takes decades to diggest, and eventually if finishes and you loose your powers; going in the water has some sort of connection to that. (You know you shouldn't go swimming right after eating )
