I liked this one a lot and I'm certainly going to follow the up coming episodes. This could become the best animated arc yet if they don't sink it with fillers.

Great episode! We got a new bgm in it, probably from movie 6 (I can't wait to receive the cd I ordered from Japan for those new music pieces). Water Seven is so colourful. Even the Yagara Bulls have different colours. Next episode looks awesome too in the preview : superbe animation, much story covered (we already see Robin and Chopper in town, and Zoro serious).
I didn't like Kokoro and Chimney's hair colour. But the voices were fine. I think Chimney has the same voice as Miss Golden Week. I should check that. I don't mind small fillers like the ones in this episode. As long as they don't make it like Alabasta indeed, having entire filler episodes… Anyway, I think the manga is far enough for the anime not to catch up before somewhere in 2006 (and I hope the manga arc will be done by then). Nothing to worry about.
This episode gives a strange feeling when you know what's going to happen to our beloved crew...
EDIT : the scene with the samourai pirates is in the next episode (see preview with Iceburg)

Hah, awesome episode. Yeh, I was surprised how little time they spent at Shift Station, as I expect they moved on right after the break. It seems like the Toei team are keeping all the Galley-la guys under wraps until the next episode, as they switched the Mikaziki pirates encounter, with the Yagara bullshop scene, which is cool with me.
I think they want to keep the focus on exploring W7 for now, obviously they'll keep the Mikaziki pirates/Galley-la fight back, until they introduce Iceburg, I think it'll flow better.

Looks like I was wrong. They actually got to Water Seven, and it was a cool episode overall. I loved the way they did Kokoro and Chimney.
But…..that drawing didn't look like Franky. :(

Chimney - (斉藤 千和), Saitou Chiwa (The same voice of Jennifer in Disgaea)Keep in mind I'm not entirely sure about Chimney's VA, since the 'tou' was nearly impossible for me to read in the credits, but I think I'm right.

No Franky for a while. But going by the preview, it looks like Zoro is about to get a rude awakening from a few bounty hunters from a certain W7 'family'. :)

Actually, I think you may be the first person to upload the Movie 6 soundtrack to the net. All the usual anime/jpop rippers either missed it or ignored it. B)

Probably because it's a movie's soundtrack and they don't know that the tracks are used in the anime also. In Naruto for instance, the movie's soundtrack isn't used in the series. Thanks to this sixth movie, we're gonna have a unique W7 arc, like Alabasta and Drum, unlike Skypiea that used the same old tracks again and again instead of using movie 5's music (which was used in the Davy Back Fight).
This sixth soundtrack must be awesome when you hear that track they used in episode 229. Gives some sort of "Hawaii" feeling. I'm expecting so much more from this soundtrack than from Naruto 3rd soundtrack. But I ordered them both from cdjapan and must wait 'til Naruto's is out to get the OP one. Kouhei and Hamaguchi are amazing. Much more than Masuda, although he did quite a few good pieces too in the two first seasons.

Really? It sounded kinda "Venice" to me, which was very appropriate. Water 7 is the Venice of Grand Line (self-assumption)
