This is obvious from me, but I think Usopp is the hottest character…because zomg teh nose secks!! XD
Actually, I don't know, I always like strange looking people/characters. As much as people balk at Usopp's oddly drawn features like his lips, nose, eyes, etc.. I look past the drawing style...and I see sort of an exotic, olive-skinned, long haired Mediterranean-type of guy. 
I started a Nami's boobs topic. Is was my first post ever, and it reached like 5 pages.

Also, being a guy, and not trying to sound gay, but I find Sanji attractive in a manly way. Like… if I was a girl, I'd dig him. He's just awesome. 'Nuff said.
Hmmm, might as well reply, first off, I dun really like the term 'hot' unless its something to do with the temperature, or if your feeling flushed. But, since I consider personality hot, I'd probably say Luffy, since he's probably my favourite male character, and would be fun to play hide the sausage with, take that however you wish.

Hmm. Well, I'm going to be pedantic (what a shock) and first question the definition of "hot". If we're talking purely appearances, I'd say probably either Sanji or possibly Fullbody in terms of my aesthetics. Kohza and Wiper are up there, too. Zoro… has been a little difficult for me to tell exactly how attractive he's meant to be. To paraphrase someone else, I always sort of pictured him as the sort of man who, if he were a woman, would have an abundance of unwanted body hair, a not unattractive but not conventionally-good-looking face, with a really smokin' body. Having said that, I have no real concrete reasons for thinking so other than just a gut reaction. I don't think he's ugly, I just don't think he's probably particularly good-looking, either.
Having said that, attitude and personality count for a lot, at least for a lot of the ladies (and guys, I'm sure). In that effect, the only members of the main cast I don't find attractive would be Luffy and Chopper, and partially for the same reason-- they're so young. Physically they're not that young (I think Chopper's supposed to be 15), but emotionally they're still in single digits, which automatically makes them sexual non-entities as far as I'm concerned. Chopper's also got that whle animal thing going on, which shoves him further out.
But most male characters have personalities that appeal to me in some fashion-- hell, I happen to think Cricket's pretty hot, despite the fact that his features do nothing for me aesthetically. It's all very subjective.
(Ugh, my psych class is really not helping me get any shorter-winded.) But in essense, Sanji's the one I tend to find most attractive-- after being involved with men who are pretty much the antithesis of his attitudes and ideals and having had to go through a lot of crap because of it, I'm pretty much ruined on guys who aren't like Sanji at least a fair amount. Interestingly, until relatively recently, Sanji was even more ambiguous to me in terms of physical attractiveness than Zoro. I really couldn't decide (especially in the early chapters) if he was supposed to be attractive or not. Lately it seems obvious from the way Oda draws him, but for quite a while there it could have gone either way.

Smoker is fanservice personified. I like the way he dresses (I'd kill for a jacket like that, even though it's gonna be 50C in a month), the whole defiantly noble attitude thing is appealing, and I believe I already talked of the romantic possibilities of Moku-Moku in the dojinshi thread some months ago.
Lucci is strangely attractive… perhaps more bishonen than the typical OP character, but with the brutal scarring and tattoos to keep an edge to him.

There are many male characters I find sexy but my two favorites has to be Zoro and Lucci.
Zoro because he's manly, he has attitude and… blah... just look at him.
Lucci... He has style (I have always liked men in black suits), he's cool and I absolutely adore his hair although I usually don't care so much about male animanga characters with long hair because they often look to feminine. Lucci makes an exception. Oh yes he really does. Those eyebrows and that chin beard... Gotta love him.
The strangest guy I find sexy is probably Kaku. It's his style and behaviour what made him so cool. And he's cute in a way I like. I can't stand those animanga characters who are cute in a "right" way (like Sora from Kingdom Hearts).

Just... everything about Zoro I love~ I enjoy all his fights, I love that he is such a badass swordsman, and yet is totally lazy in just about every other aspect... and has the worst sense of direction known to man XD Also, I think its his fault I find sideburns sexy....

Usopp and Luffy are 'cuter' rather than hotter. Which had more merit, in my opinion.

With Lucci, I would probably lose my nerves after five minutes because he doesn't show his emotions and doesn't react clearly to anything. No matter what I'd say to him, he would only give me a blank stare and yeah....

My first reaction is "Jango", so I'm going to go with that, though Usopp, Buggy, Chaka, Fullbody, and, lately, Helmeppo, aren't far behind.
Plus I think I've actually found most reasonably young (see: under the age of fifty) One Piece characters - male or female - sexually attractive at one point or another (with the bizarre exception of Luffy, Sanji and a few side characters who are very popular among the female fanbase)
As for why I like Jango… personality's got a lot to do with it, but I do find his design attractive too (and trust me, it's got absolutely nothing to do with Michael Jackson, who frightens me). Going by the list above and my own experience, common themes in the characters I think of as "hot" include a humorous side - whether it be through the character's role as comic relief or their sense of humour - and a gentle nature or, failing that, a "gray" character that is neither good nor evil by nature. Valuing friendship also counts for a lot in my book, which, I suppose, is part of why I like so many OP characters. Also, for whatever reason I find myself liking the kind of characters that have designs considered unattractive by many, especially if the "unattractive" part of them is a large or unusually shaped nose.
