I was really wondering why we haven't seen any badass bounty hunter till now.We saw Yosaku and Johhny firsty and we also know that Zoro was a former bounty hunter (a quite strong one) .However i don't remember another hunter shown.
But is there really any high level bounty hunter that could take down pirates in shichibukai level ( i am referring to the bounty 300 million or more) ?
Personally i hope Oda will introduce us someone!

We're bound to get some more bounty hunters at one point. Maybe one of Zoro's old associates from back in his bounty hunter days, possibly a former rival (bounty hunting wise). Possibly the world's greatest bounty hunter or something along those lines.
there will probably be an uber bounty hunter and he will probably be at the new world. the only problems with there being a bounty hunter is that a bounty hunter usually travels alone so i doubt he would be any danger to strong pirate crews since they would just team up against him unless there is a group of like 5 really strong bounty hunters or something that catch pirates together. plus if luffy fights a bounty hunter there would be an arc centered around that but i doubt oda wants to spend time with something like that. maybe luffy befriends a bounty hunter or something and we see him travel with luffy for a bit or something.
I agree…... there will probably be one or two bounty hunters in the New World, but I doubt they will be as strong as a Yonkou....
given that all of the strawhats have bounties, yes.. we should see more of them in the upcoming arcs.
I know this will never happen but, I always liked the idea Saga (OP Movie 5) being a character in the manga (Although not with the whole cursed sword thing)
I think Saga would've made a great bounty hunter/rival to Zoro in the manga. 0% of it happening, but I can dream.

Baroque Works is an organisation of bounty hunters, who just happen to be owned by a Shichibukai.
But there may really be more B hunters on the New World, though the strongest of them would probably already be a Shichibukai.

I thought the Franky Family were bounty hunters too.
I wouldn't mind seeing high level bounty hunters but I'm not sure if they'd fit in the story. It's time now for Oda to focus on the three Great Powers.

Baroque Works is a union of bounty hunters, not that hard to understand.
I think that is a union of both assassins and bounty hunters.For example if i remember well Das Bones was a famous assasin.
As for what u think Aldrich i think it would not be bad for Oda to dedicate 2 or 3 chapter to a ""legendary bounty hunter"" or smth like that.I also want to see more of the 3 great powers but it is nice to see smth different now and then.
I have forgotten the BW was mostly hunters. Still, an arc centered on some major bounty hunters always seemed like something potential awesome to me.
Can someone link me to the manga pages where it was started the main Baroque Works (numbered agents) were bounty hunters? I'm sure Vivi said something about them, I've just forgotten.

Maybe there will be one or two that are just like Zoro, that take down high skilled pirates for fun, and only if they really need money, they take em to the marines.

What i believe is that there are some strong bounty hunters that just dont want to become pirates (because they are going to be chased after all) and are only interested in fighting strong people. They do so by becoming BH and this is what how also make their living.
There could be some strong Bounty Hunters in the New World.

I hadn't seriously considered the idea until I read your post. Now that they have a huge bounty it seems that we'll see some serious bounty action…not to mention some VERY humorous encounters with wouldbe badass bounty hunters I'm sure.

Bounty hunters wll probably be scared off from going after the lower bounties, like Nami, because of Luffy and Zoro. The stronger bounty hunters probably wouldn't want to fool with capturing anyone except Luffy and Zoro. So unless we see a strong hunter….
Now as for their new bounty, it is going to be a lot of fun cause not only BH are going after them but shichibukai and Vice admirals are as well!!
well though the idea sounds nice we had the whiskey peak and people are forgetting something:
the schichibukai are the "bounty hunters" of the new world,the take a percentage from the pirates they eliminate
Smoker's pretty much the closest thing we have to a bounty hunter in the series.
i think that bounty hunters are just bounty hunters and they dont do anything else… when zoro was a bounty hunter(pirate hunter) he just hunted bounties... he hasn't any other job... and now he is pirate and he does not hunt bounties anymore... and if smoker or the shichibukai kill pirates then they shouldn't get money for that because it's their job to do this... Or am i wrong??!?!?!?!?!?!?

The Franky Family were also bounty hunters… My guess is the tougher pirates are harder to kill therefore if there are bounty hunters further into the GL, they are few and strong or they work in groups like the FF.
The Shickibukai aren't really ordered to attack pirates for money, they are threatened to kill pirates by the WG.
Shuraiya(Movie 4) was badass.
He should make some tip of cameo, even if the movies aren't canon.
I can also see groups of bounty hunters frequenting the area around the Furian(?) Triangle, maybe causing some of the abandoned ships.
Maybe Mihawk was a Bounty Hunter before he became Shichibukai. His past is quite cloudy, isn't it?
Anyway I don't think Smoker can be considered a bounty hunter because it's his job to catch pirates (as a Marine) and not his job to get the bounties from pirates (he probably already has a Marine salary)

2. Gan Fall was a Bounty Hunter, of sorts. He helped or hunted people for money.
3. The Baroque Works members in Whisky Peak, although I believe that was just a cover.
Technically, in the fillers, movies, and OVAs, the SHs collected bounties for some defeated pirates, so they're kinda demi-bounty hunters.
Personally I'd like to see someone stronger than Johnny and Yosaku, the FF or the Whiskey Peak BW members.
Like, a group of people a mugiwara couldn't take out in five seconds (like Zoro tends to do). Someone who actually poses a threat.
A main villain bounty hunter would be cool. Franky was kinda close, but, eh.
The reason for so few BH's is their personal goals and driving force. If they believe in bringing pirates to justice they become marines.
If they want money they become pirates.
If they just want challenges and relief to boredom then you get Mihawk.
This leaves you with room for maybe a handful of very unique characters we could end up seeing later in the manga.

Anyways, I would expect to see groups of bounty hunting teams working together. There's four Yonkou and quite possibly a lot of pirates who aren't at that level but are still probably quite formidable. As such, they probably have very high bounties.
Smart bounty hunters are going to realize that a pirate with a really high bounty is probably going to be one tough customer. They'd be willing to sacrifice part of a bounty to work together and still get some of the prize.
