      The title says it all.

I'm like Hisotensoku: Not here to preserve peace, nor to destroy it. I certainly can't move mountains. Mostly, I'm just full of hot air.- Meh

Holy God, to be brought up in that type of environment and do something with his life that has such a positive impact (let alone SURVIVE) is phenominal! This man is such an inspiration and should be recognized as such worldwide. Reading this story is making me second guess what I've been doing for the past 27 years…

            Damn straight he is.

Like Tankman, except with mines and over a longer period of time.

Great man who's done some fantastic things but I have to say….

"I want to make my country safe for my people."

Wow....great quote to choose as your quote. As if there's some asshole sitting at home thinking, "I want to make my country as dangerous as possible for my people."

Again, fantastic man who's been blessed and worked for/with great perseverance (if I spelled that correctly which I doubt) but making that your quote is just kinda….yeah... As if anyone really thinks contrary.

No matter where you go, there you are.

That was an amazing read. I'm a history buff, so that was definately a fantastic read.

I commend this man for everything he has done. I sincerely wish him the best of luck. A great man that will hopefully be remembered by at least some people.

                    It sure is very inspiring.

Although I sense a bit of irony…... I noticed he named one of his kids "Mine"...

It probably means something else in Cambodian. I note that's the name of the author of Keroro Gunso (assuming it's not a pen name), and I doubt he was named after exploding trinkets.

You mean, mi-ne, not maa-in, right? I sure hope so, I don't want to see a domestic disturbance in this family anytime soon. That man is doing a wonderful job trying to help others by sacrificing himself (almost).

Sounds like a normal name to me. Im cambodian and my parents have alot of cambodian friends over which means I see their kids. As to what it means, I have no idea due to the fact that I can only speak so much to only communicate normally.
