Sorry if it's already been discussed but I thought about Frankfried ( right spelling ?) as Zoro's new sword. Not sure it would have been that great, though.

NO!!! Please don't give Zoro a DF-sword cause that would be kind of cheap... I always loved that it is all his own strenght... same for Sanji or should his leg eat a DF... Oh it already has eaten the Mera Mera fruit it seems

if zoro or sanji don't get a devil fruit the will not be able to keep kind of like piccolo in dbz

no they don't need devil fruits. Zoro's sword abilities make him as gd as many other df users. He has beaten loads of df users without one same for sanji. Given them dfs would make the strawhats over powered and Zoro and sanji are strong enough without one.

just that "normal" humans like Shanks are strong as hell without a devil fruit... I don't mention WB or Mihawk cause it wasn't shown...

I agree that zoro's new sword should not be a DF sword. There are a couple reasons that it shouldn't be one. Zoro wants to become the strongest swordsman. If his sword has a DF power it would kind of be like cheating. Also, DF have weaknesses, like if they lean towards one element they are hurt by another.
I can just see zoro getting a cheap sword at first just to replace it. But then latter on getting another cursed sword, or another rare swords.~Xenocore

I would just add to this comment that a seastone-sword is as well as a DF fruit kind of cheating…
