Upper Yard was once part of Jaya. The poneglyph pointed to the location of Poseidon. Because Upper Yard is now in the air and the weapons are generally established to be nearby the islands that their poneglyphs describe, it's safe to assume that it's under or near Jaya.
As for Pluton, Crocodile and Robin both stated it was somewhere in Alabasta, and the poneglyph gave the exact location. That's why Crocodile wanted to take over Alabasta, so he'd have people combing the country to find it.
I don't remember anything like that, I must go read/watch that part again.

Just because Pulton is Pluto meaning Hades does not mean the reason that Pulton is buried. It's buried to be hidden from anyone who seeks it. Poisedon is buried also so it don't have to be in the ocean hance the name. If there is a Zeus weapon which is not offically named, does not have to be floating in the sky.

i'm no expert on one piece in terms of quoting and stuff so i can't verify FFA's quote or search up more; but if what FFA quoted was in fact what croc said, it is a kind of proof that pluton is under alabasta, unless you're supporting the theory that Croc has no idea where it is and he was misinformed that it was under alabasta to begin with.

One could relate to Pluton as being a warship because Tom was a shipwright... but even though he was a shipwright, he built The Rocket Man and the ohter sea train, so that must mean he could build anything and not just a ship.

It's a weapon only if it's used as a weapon. A warship can be a lot of things, including an ark, a vessel of protection… using it as a destructive weapon would be that person's choice.
Not using it as a weapon doesn't change the fact that it has the potential to be a weapon. In order to protect, the ship has to use its weapon ability to ward off or destroy ships. A warship is meant to be built as a ship primarily used for war. Even if it's used as an escort, its use is for battle purposes. Otherwise, ship classes like caravels would be warships if used as a destructive weapon.

They aren't talking about Ancient Weapons here, and even if they were, they aren't saying that weapons are non-destructive, like arks. I'm pretty sure that nobody has ever even hinted that the Ancient Weapons are not extremely destructive by design.

Now I wouldn't say that Pluton wouldn't necessarily be on Alabasta, but as Zephos said, a rule of thumb that poneglyphs would be on the same island as the weapons? That's not necessarily true.
But even if Pluton wasn't on alabasta, what are the chances that Croc couldn't just sail to wherever Pluton was?

Crocodile and Cobra both said that it was located in Arabasta. Robin didn't confirm it, but if Cobra had such a big reaction to the word "Pluton", then it's pretty obvious that it's there. Besides, why would they write about it in Arabasta and leave it elsewhere? It may be plausible but it's not practical for them to do so.
I trust FFA more than anyone else on something like this, and his points seem alot more logical than anyone else's here…. But that theory of the weapons combining to one thing is pretty interesting! I guess we'll have to wait for One Piece to end to find out if Oda has so much of a Power Rangers mentality.... Personally, I bet against it, but he could pull it off. Maybe the one who finally gets all of them will be Blackbeard (maybe that's the continuation of his great plan, since we've heard NOTHING about his plan after becoming Shichibukai; because, like Croc, being a Shichibukai would give him free reign to travel the grand line and find ALL of them!), and combining them creates an AI that even Blackbeard didn't know was there, and so it destroys him and plans to destroy all life on the planet, and this giant 3+ times weapon combination with a concious mind is Luffy and the crew's final enemy... since maybe the Zeus is what's (not all of, but) PART of One Piece on Raftel, and Blackbeard finds it at the same time as Luffy, and so Luffy found One Piece and gets his final battle at the same time.

Wouldn't it make sense to leave a treasure away from the map? If you left Pluton away from its Poneglyph, then the journey to retrieve the weapon is more tedious then searching over an island over which you've already journeyed over in order to get to its capital.
lots of interesting theories gathered in one thread… let me add one (probably not as 'wow' as the previous ones). who said that all poneglyphs are stating the existance of ancient weapons. Please correct me if i'm wrong but as i recall poneglyphs' purpose was to pass a message of the ancient country that was destroyed by the marines' ancestors, the whole thing about the 100 year history void. my guess is that one piece is a poneglyph that tells us what happened in these 100 years (revolutionaries would have a part in the end of the anime if i'm correct).

I'm not sure what you're asking, but I'm saying that I totally forgot about the fact that Robin lied to Crocodile about the ponyglyph, and therefore I now feel like an ass. It's a pretty major thing to forget, but I didn't read far enough so I got fooled by her lies too. It is a FAILED moment, as Ace said so politely.
