Zoro's third Sword and new member

Ever since Enies Lobby 2 main questions have bothered me for a bit
Who do you think the new crew mate will be?
What type of sword will Zoro Get?
i realized maybe the new member of the crew will be a blacksmith who makes zoro a sword? If you think about it it would be a perfect match for the crew because franky will need some help with himself and zoro could use someone to help repair or maintain swords(not sure how it works). Anyone else see this?

not a bad theory but the blacksmith would have to be one of the worlds best cpnsidering zoro breaks swords that are of the top quality so it would have to be a very powerful and skilled blacksmith to join the crew at this point.

but i just saw an trailer of an old One Piece gamecube game, and theres a Don flamingo look-a-like with an electric guitar, and he's never been shown in the series before either, and i haven't been on this forum long enough to have read the topics, maybe theres a topic about him or something,

is he somebody or just a random guy who has nothing to do with OP?

That's too limited.
So he's a top-rate blacksmith, like all of the rest of the crew in their own fields. The thing is they have dreams that's got a little link, tiny link to their fields. If it's a blacksmith, I can't think of anything. We're running low on dream stock anyways, so the possibility of such a shallow job is unlikely to come.
Plus, we're heading Merman/Fishman Island. I doubt such a small unique world will be around swords, leave aside blacksmiths.

I don't want Zoro's swords to get broken or destroyed so constantly that he needs his own personal blacksmith. A resident blacksmith appearing every few arcs is good enough.

No, the only reason Kuina's sword doesn't break is because if it did Zoro's dream would be screwed.

I think he's just an extra as a throwaway character in the game. He hosts the games in One Piece Treasure Battle and can be unlocked. I think he was called Rocky…

But anyway, i think Franky can pass as a musician, so I'm still waiting for Luffy to see him play guitar and see if he declares him the musician. Then they can get into arguments all the time whether he's the ship's carpenter or the musician. Hilarity ensues....

Anyway anyway, i think Usopp's inventions and Franky's cyborgisms pretty much make up for a need for a blacksmith.

I think Zoro is gonna find his next katana on the Florian Triangle. A "ghost ship" is bound to have some type of abandoned weapon.

though i too like rockstar cuz he is cool and he would fit with franky!!!!!! arguing about who will sing or the one popping into the other's songs and things like that

the blacksmith issue was discussed a long ago,i think it was in the chapter thread were merry rose from the dead to save the SH

i too don't like the idea of zoro not having permanent swords but it won't go that way if a blacksmith joins

i shall post some ideas (most of them were mine) in that chapter thread concerning the blacksmith

1. as usopp wasn't a shipwright,franky isn't a blacksmith so his cannons and future inventions could become even better

2. the blacksmith would upgrade kuina's sword so that a sword from the best group of swords that kuina was talking about won't steal it's spotlight

3. the blacksmith could be from a legendary family of blacksmiths that made one of a kind swords by order or it created one of the best lines of extremely rare and expensive swords like the kitetsu and he could entrust zoro the last sword that his father-granpa-teacher made

4. the 2 and 3 together

also zoro has the third kitetsu so i am sure one day he will get the first

I don't want Yubashiri to be repaired. These are all owazamono-oo grade, we need a saijo owazamono-oo soon. The best candidates are Autumn Rain, the bald Gorosei's unnamed sword (Looks like Nidai Kitetsu or Iidai Kitetsu), Doc Q's sword. He'll need the highest quality sword to defeat Mihawk, no question.

And the next crewmember is Rockstar. You guys are just in denial. Oda doesn't introduce people for no reason.

i am a obsesed hater of this idea,having a seastone sword would be as cheap as a DF

zoro doesn't need one cuz he eventually will cut everything,including elements (logia) and sea stone

I dont see a blacksmith, cause in reality the only one that he would help alot is zoro.. Cause luffy,sanji,robin are all handtohand fighters

Franky is technically a bloody blacksmith. He can build guns and weapons and work with steel. He can make edged weapons too… Franky Triangle Dagger, anyone?

You can't upgrade a sword, that's silly.

Zoro needs to let go of Wado Ichimonji eventually; chaining yourself to the past will only limit you.

He will get three supreme grade swords by the end of the series.

The first thing that popped in my head when Rockstar was introduced was "Rockstar has a bounty of 98M.B. and he is Shanks underling, and is being used as a messenger, and non of the WB crew have heard of him:blink: …how strong are these guys (Shanks & WB)"

but when i think about it, he was probably introduced as a reason, but i doubt as the next Mugiwara, he's just too stiff and, about that part that he got insulted when WB treated him like a nobody, was just because he thought too highly of himself and did not respect WB enough...

I dont know who will join, but it sure would be fun if Johnny and Yusako made a apperance soon...

Yeah but its the same thing as ussop. Ussop can build crafty weapons but the ship is completely diffrent and a sword takes more skill then just ordinary weapons due to flexibility and sharpness, so zoro's sword would end like the Merry Broken:sad:

Well i assume there wont be a new member from the merman/fishman island because a mermaid wouldint really fit in with the crew even so if they get mermaid it would have to be a singer as for the blacksmiths story it could be something simmilar to kuina's story as the blacksmith is a female trying to prove shes a great swordsmith but noone gives her respect so she needs a swordsman to use her sword or sometin maybe not sure but i can see alot playing off the blacksmith role i jus dont feel like typing it.Lazy Ftw

When he first met Yosaku an johnny he had broken kuina's sword, and was waiting in this town because a good blacksmith was there and could repair it, he even need 1 million berries to pay this blacksmith (money he got from beating the asshole from this town)

but...Sandai Kitetsu ist just a "simple" Wazamono… For me would be the logically way that it should be at least a Ryo Wazamano = 1 of 50 like the Yubashiri... cause for me it looks stronger or better like the Yubashiri

That's because Mihawk didn't hit it. He went in a wide Z shape and Zoro was spinning his two nameless swords, so one was on top, one was on bottom. Wado Ichimonji was JUST out of range.

Zoros swords were cut in 2 separate places so it couldn't have only be a Z shape cut. He was just so fast the other slashes couldn't be seen so we don't know if wadou was hit or not

I think zoro will steal one from sergeant Tashigi, maybe she has a good sword with her or he will get information from her about a secret sword hidden in the next inland and start a race between them to obtain the sword .

The sea stone applied it items I don’t know if they are hard I think they are not.

I think (not completely positive but fairly sure) seastone is as hard as diamond.

Also we aren't talking about yubashiri we are talking about zoro's 1st encounter with Mihawk when his two un-named swords were cut while wadou remained intact.

Oh well, I don't think Zoro will get a seastone sword, just because he would be stronger than even Luffy. And Logia's would be able to use their elements to dodge him.

Mihawk’s sword is sea stone one because I think his sword have a magical properties.

And zoro must have a sword like him.
