Common theory states that barty is going to be some kinda of bear type zoan.

It actually makes a little sense if you look at it as a battle between darkness and light. If Bear has some kind of holy light power….gg teach.
if that happened that soon after BB beat Ace with his new fruit than that whole fight would be pointless.

This thread more or less destroys my belief in the Arlong Park forums. How in Oda's name is it possible to get this many replies on a theory completely pulled out of one's ass? The theory is badly formulated. It's not supported by any textual evidence. It's actually contradicted by the fact that Blackbeard is after Luffy to raise his status in the World Goverment.
My problem is this: In my time here, I've posted four theories on these boards, which I have spent quite alot of time creating and putting into words. I've never had replies going for more than 3 pages. Then somebody comes along and writes "I think Blackbeard and Kuma will fight LOL!!!" and gets over two pages. I feel insulted.
I think we are all intrigued by the down syndrome typing style and flocked to see it in action.

It's from a colorspread in vol 2 I think. There's Shanks, Buggy and a bunch of other unknown pirates like this guy who never appeared in the story… Yet.

You are no doubt underestimating the powers of the NF forum. They still have he abiliuty to produce endless fanclubs, and polls without mod approval. They also have many more kiddies running around. This board in general seems to be much more mature than that junktard.

But I'd like to point out, all the Shichibuka are themed after animals, but none so far have had a devil fruit that embodied that name. Crocodile was sand, Flamingo was puppeteering (or w/e you want to call it, Mihawk doesn't even have one, and Jinbei prob doesn't have a devil fruit seeing as how he is a fishman who swims freely in the ocean.
Hence, Kuma could have any type of fruit. And personally, it would be a bit cliche for him to be "light light fruit" just cause we have a "darkness fruit". I'm sure Oda is more creative than that. Plus, it wouldn't make plotwise sense for them to fight, seeing as Blackbeard wants to join the Shichibukai, not fight them.
It hasn't happened yet. IT probably will. Anyway, how can we say that Kuma would beat BB? We know zilch about Kuma. Zilch.

Then i came across blackbeard in the manga 440 and wow he has darkness logia. So i alt + tab to check on the darkness logia in which wikipedia might have updated on it.Unfortunately it didn't really have much crap about that.
I amazingily found that kuma kia and he hold a bible …. thats when i tot he might be very holy and posses the power of maybe holiness or light. And he could also be blackbeard enemy. I decided to share this topic cause many ppl might not think of it cause hardly anything is known about this kuma guy+ futhermore ppl wld also keep thinking that BB wld eventually come after luffy and then luffy wld beat him up.

I don't think Kuma would have a bear fruit because it isn't a carnivore, and carnivore zoans are t3h strongest.

Your first point is interesting, but it just isn't Oda. Oda normally strays away from the obvious scenario, so while the bible is a symbol of "holiness" / "enlightenment", no character so far has had a power (DF or non-DF) that's based off our initial impression.
To beat an organization is indeed a way to show that you're stronger than this organization, but this definitely would not get BB into the Shichibukai. Luffy's defeat of Crocodile is enough proof to show that the WG and the Marines really want to maintain the balance of the 3 powers. If what you hypothesize is true, the WG/Marines should have been discussing potentially recruiting Luffy, but instead, they want to take him out. If BB were to fight and defeat another Shichibukai (Rokubukai), i'm sure the WG would start panicking as they'd be down to 5 members, and this would definitely upset the balance of power. However, I think if (and when) BB gets a seat as a Shichibukai, after he's attained what he wants, he may take out another member of the Shichibukai before he takes off to become the PK.

Yeah u cld be right about the shichibukai part. So maybe they wld clash for another reason
