is onew piece really in grand line? i mean gold roger said himself that everybody would have to search the whole world and aokiji did say that they were getting closer to the marine base so will one piece be there. why cant one piece be in east blu or north blue or west blue or south blue gold roger did get executed in east blue not grandline

Aokiji said nothing of the sort.
-
Yes he did. He mentioned how Water 7 was getting pretty close to the Marine Headquarters. However, I think mister Lucciano here is confusing Marine Headquarters with Mariejoa. Which I don't think are the same exactly.
-
i thinki its in grand line since this is the last place he wentr to then got cought

gold roger said:if you want my treasure search it i hide it somewhere on the grandline
eh was ein scheiss ich hasse englisch

I think what Zephos meant was that Aokiji didn´t say anything that could lead to the assumption that comming close to the Marine Headquarters has something to do with being close to the One Piece.
But back to topic. Gold Roger didn´t mention the words "One Piece" or "Grand Line" in his speech. He just said "My wealth and treasures? If you want it I´ll let you have it. Look for it, I left all of it at that place!"
It is just general assumption that he left the treasure somewhere at the Grand Line since he was the only one who ever "conquered" it.

That is correct.
Assuming that One Piece is at the end…....and we havn't even reached the half-way point.....then Marine HQ is actually pretty far away from the hubub.
I'll bet the 2nd half of the GL is pretty uncivilized. -
I think its astounding that One Piece isn't even half way in the series. I don't think that along the way in the future will show too many clues of what the one piece really is since it'll be a bit of a spoil to the ending. But who says One Piece has to really end when Luffy finally finds the one piece who knows… maybe a big fight would go on afterwards (not really what I think though, just a guess).
To me, I don't think the treasure will gold since it doesn't sound that original. But it always could be gold, maybe with some sort of powers...
Besides many pirate stories have pirates finding treasures at the end. -
in that case the it will take alot of episodes, this could be a disadvantage. we or most of us have these epsiodes but if someone comes and say i want to see one piece and sees its like 400 episodes he will say i rather see something else
-
I doubt finding the OP will be the very end, but I bet it will launch a final story arc.
-
i always kinda wondered this too since its never specificly said that one piece is in the grand line thats just where everyone assumes it is. no one knows for sure so ive always thought what if they get all the way through the grand line and they dont find it so they sail in the other blues because techinicly in order for nami to make a map of the world she would have to travel in all the blues not just east blue and the grand line
-
Gold roger said in that place grand line
-

I don't care how long One Piece gets, as long as it doesn't start to get stale and boring.
-
since we see it we dont mind but if a person just wants to start he will go WTF 300 episode i dont want to see it. hopefully it will remain cool

He kinda remind me of, well, me, on that point :PHmm, something just hit me, didn't Zoro cut things like canonballs and chains and stuff way before he learned how to cut steel?

but it took time to cut the steels he concentrated alot plus its not the same steel as a sword has or mr.1 its a bit different (i think or its just a mistake by oda{i dont think so})

Aren't cannonballs made of iron?
That´s actually the entire thing that I don´t get. I thought that this entire iron/steel things hasn´t been translated very well. I´m sure that there hasn´t been put much consideration in what is what. I actually even think that it is tougher to cut iron then steel or is it? I don´t know. Someone with more knowledge about this please verify what´s stronger.
-
steel is stronger then iron.see a chemist he might help :P

OK, thanks for clearing that up. To think that I was pretty good in chemistry back in school. Oh the shame! :o
-
If he cuts some steel chains in a filler episode it's most likely bull shit, the creators of the anime just make up stuff sometimes not asking Oda, hate the anime!

i still believe that onepiece is in grandline, but what is "onepiece"? i think each crew of strawhat is already have "onepiece" in their self. even if luffy get the onepiece,if he can defeated the the strongest pirate in the world(whitebeard captain) i think he doesn't get the "onepiece" because luffy want to be the pirate king, and if sanji doesn't find "all blue" in the grand line, i think he doesn't get his one piece because the reason why sanji join with luffy is he want to prove that the "all blue" does exist, n zorro must defeated mihawk because he want to be the greatest swordman in the world

one piece is suppose to be treasure kept by gold roger on Raftel(the last island of grand line)

hi im new here =D well actually been lurking around until now >.< anyways i was just wondering could it be possible that one piece is somewhat related to the true history that robin is seeking? as far as i know, only robin and roger knows how to read the poneglyphs. so does that somehow means that the treasure is information to an unknown truth?

Welcome aboard. :) I agree with your views. I think that the true history text actually tell where and what One Piece is. Roger found it more important to leave the Golden Bell where it is so that people can read the Porneglyph instead of taking the bell with him. So what he read there must have been a lot more important and valuable then gold.

**what makes you sure Roger can read porneglph??
A. He wrote in the same writing the porneglyph´s are written in and B. he wouldn´t have written what he wrote if he couldn´t read it._
-
haha good point
i also think that there is a connection…..
BTW and is it just me or do anybody else always mix up porneglph and pornograhpy :P
-
ooh ok and wolfwood i wanted to aprevate the word so i looked at it and took the first 4 letters=P.O.R.N so i decided to write the full word :P

Hmm, i was thinking of something, Gol D Roger doesn't seem to have been a very bloodthirsty and evil guy, i mean, first of all, he left that gold bell, what kind of pirate would do that?
Second, if he can read the poneglyph (or however it is spelled), then why didn't he get the ancient weapons? With those he certainly most likely never would've been captured…
Or maybe he did, maybe they are at the last island, raftel was it? But still, he doesn't seem to have used them, if he in fact had them...Anyway, my guess is that he probably was in fact a pretty nice guy, pretty much like Luffy, just way smarter...
But maybe it's something that runs in family?

**well in my opinion, if he was the greatest pirate of all era (for now atleast), he would have be strong enough not to be capture but he was being hold by a merely handcuff and 2 weak-looking marines. it looks as if he actually want to be executed or atleast doesn't have any reason to escape since he is a criminal and no reason to stay as pirate if he is a nice guy like luffy like what u said. but it does make sense since luffy wants to be pirate king so much and so many respect roger. who would respect an evil villain? ._. (dont answer that) . by the way i've been wondering does anyone here think black beard has any relations with luffy since he as well has the D in his name?
p/s : thx for welcoming me ivotas xD i thought i would be thrown with rotten tomatoes ._.;;;
-
i just thought that maybe roger was not killed just because he was the pirate king but because he could read poneglyph, exactly as robin is followed by the government since she was young.
and the reason would be the same: old weapons.
i also wonder, who cough gol D roger. one of the 3 admirals? maybe the 3 together?

I think he turned himself over to the government since he achieved everything. The only that was left to lunch a Great Pirate era which he did with his last words. So even in death he was a winner. :D
-
he probably just gave up once he hid onepiece since then he could make it more of a challenge for the d
