I haven't watched any of the specials yet but I was wandering If the only 3 specials out there on kaizoku's website. Also are they continuations or can I start at a random one. Also are episode 291 and 292 going to be the normal special length or the length of any episode.

K-F subs specials in the order that they're released, so they haven't got to specials 4 yet and the latest specials just aired very recently. Gerusama subbed special 4, check the subforum for the torrents. Specials 1-3 are unrelated to each other, but the 291-292 are a continuation of the special 4.

Specials: 40 minute fillers. Movies: 100 minute fillers.

^ So what? Fillers can be enjoyable if handled right.

Well not for me. I just avoid them like a plague. Different people have different tastes, some people even enjoy them :) Ive tried to watch the specials and movies but theres always the feeling of something being wrong so ive decided its just not my thing. The animation is usually pretty cool though.

Would it make you feel better that Oda approves of the story and usually designs the characters himself?
-
Some of the "filler" specials were pretty cool. They do not add anything to the plot but there are a good piece of animation work. They give a break to the animators who are making the next episode of OP :)

I loved the Boss Luffy and the Randolf specials. Those were really interesting and funny. I like OP filler, granted not as good as canon OP, but its not like a disgrace to the show.

Well, I've always liked to movies, but it would be more enjoyable if you didn't have the reassurance of all Oda's characters living.
It was the same deal with the recent Star Wars.
