I read this topic in many other threads so I wanted to start a thread where we can discuss about it…

      The question is simple...

      Whh has more character???

      Sanji or Zoro???

Zoro has always his dream in front of him and doing whatever he has to... but I think there is more about him and his character... he just is a deep thinker and doesn't tell it out but you can see it or gear it when he does a speak...

Sanji on the other hand is the more open guy... He shows his feelings unlike Zoro... has other interests like cooking and womens and interact more with the crew... He seems to have fun in his life and do what he want to do... But like Zoro he can be serious too and is sill a bad-ass when it comes to fighting...

Both are awesome and I don't want to start an other who is stronger topic... This is just about their personalities... So which one you think has the better one???

For me I think it is Sanji... Zoro maybe is for a manga a cool character but for the real life Sanji is the more "normally" character...

I think Zoro is much deeper a character.

I do like Sanji, and think he's a cool guy myself, but his personality is pretty standard. He likes women alot, and he tries to be a gentleman too. I say that as if he isn't a gentleman, but he is, though he may be a teensy bit perverted sometimes. He also does some really cool stuff, like masquerade as Mr. Prince, and do some under cover helping out the gang. But all of this doesn't make him deeper, he's pretty easy to read and understand.

As for Zoro, he's always sleeping, and we don't know that much about him. He also has his own moral code, which is revealed piece by piece, whereas Sanji's code is pretty evident right off the bat (he doesn't use his hands for fights, he doesn't hit women, is a gentleman, etc). An example of Zoro's code is how he wants to follow a commander he can rely on to keep his word (as we recently saw in chapter 438, when he was talking about Usopp). He's also very vigilant, and while most of the rest of his crew was tricked by the people in Whisky Peak, he was suspicious and wasn't fooled. Cunning and clever, he figures out his new moves in a very cool way. Like when he managed to get his sword to cut only what he wanted after he remembered his lesson with his master…he passed it by the tree's leaves, and they were unharmed. But when he swung his sword through the rock, it was cut in two.

Overall, I think both are great characters, but Zoro is my favorite character in all manga. I know the whole mysterious swordsman thing has been done before, but Zoro isn't exactly like that, and he does have my admiration over Sanji (who also has my admiration, just not as much of it). He's calm and very reliable, and he doesn't fear death. He was willing to cut off his legs in order to have a chanced of getting off the giant candle, and that speaks for his determination and logic.

Zoro. Sanji never really shows weakness, but Zoro does.

Not at all to imply that Zoro is weak.

They're both quite flat, really. But I'll go with Sanji since Zoro is dull, only has two facial expressions, and has been done to death in countless anime. Sanji has quite a few interesting sides to his character - his relationship with Zeff and the other Baratie workers, and his need to help anyone who's hungry. Unfortunately, he doesn't show those sides much. Well, at least he's amusing the rest of the time. Zoro hasn't been amusing since Skypiea.

We already have several threads that this would be appropriate in.
              http://apforums.net/showthread.php?t=924 Here's one.

If you spoiler me, I will eat you with tater tots.
