It could just be a problem with my side of things but since y'day everytime i go to the website i get pop-ups followed by a dialog box saying that windows is preparing to install stuff on my computer, which i have to cancel several times. This has never happened to me before y'day and only happens with ADC's website. Is it just me or are others experiencing this?

try using firefox, otherwise, it could be something wrong with your comp, such as a virus is already latched onto you or ADC is TRYING to take over the world!?!?!?! dun dun dun

Yea i will try using firefox, ive been meaning to get round to installing it anyway. (i used to use it all the time but recently got a new laptop).
It could be a virus on my side but i thought it seemed unlikely since it only happens on ADC and happens everytime i visit.
I use IE. just checked it out now. working fine for me. better check your pc

acually there is a problem with adc site… at least for me.
I get a trojan attack each time i visit adc but kaspersky blocks it for me.
so its not just me then. if anyone goes to the site unprotected and experiences the problem, clicking cancel on all the boxes that come up should prevent any further problems. it worked ok for me. if anyone can suggest a good defence i would appreciate it. to the person who posted above me, where do u get that program u mention.

I get one too. And, yes, I use firefox. No install program shit, no virus, just a popup.
mine blocks a popup everytime i htink but dont know about a trojan or anything…im behind zonealarm firewall tho so maybe i dont see it

i use Kaspersky Anti-virus 6.0 and u get it most probably when u buy it, but there are other means to get it i guess.
zonealarm? i downloaded it from somewhere like downloads.com for free…i think they want you to pay for it after a while but you can crack if u look hard enough
and just to be clear its not an antivirus program its just a firewall...im not exactly sure how neccessary it is but i use it...and its annoying when u first get it because u have to OK everything that wants to use the internet the first time around
I too get a popup everytime I visit ADC. It gets blocked, but shows up in the meter.
Only thing that appears to be the cause is the paypopup.com code. I have heard of other sites that have this same advert and causing the same popup issues.
Just a thought.

I have tried accessing the ACD website with IE 6, IE 7, Firefox 2.0, Opera 9.0, Netscape, and Lotus Notes built in browser. I never seen a pop up get displayed once with any of them. None of my multiple scanners warned me of anything as well after multiple refreshes to try and "lure" the pop up to happen.
What is taking ADC so long to update ep 290-291????? Gahhh!

but I don't get any pop up when I go to ADC, I just go there and nothing happens, but I don't really go there since I come here for updates on episodes.
I get it, its a "mystery" website. Some people are seeing something while others get nothing at all. Well thats me confused! Like its been said, i will just be checkin here for updates from now on, which is a shame cus ill miss the nicely designed randomly generated headers :sad:
Or people could just do what I do, access the tracker and then bookmark it as either a feed [tell it to only update the feeds when a new feed is made], or as a basic bookmark. You just need to look at the bottom of the list for the newest episode as a basic bookmark. Most trackers have the release date next to the torrent, so you can see when it was released.

Well, to this point, I'm assuming ADC isn't going to sub 290. As for 291, that won't be released until January. Instead, their showing the One Piece Special 5.

i'm pretty sure their free version is free forever. But of coarse, companies always try to push their versions they get money for. I actually liked that they asked you to ok a program before it granted you access to it. That way I knew what was going on.
If some people are having pop up problems, and others are not, that makes me think it is the user's computer, and not the website.
As for 290, ya, I'm anxios too, but why wouldn't they sub it? They're probably just being dragged around to the relatives by their parents this past week. or someone got sick. there's a lot of that going on right now.
About episode 290-291. With the holidays just passing, they were probably busy with that. We should see both 290 and 291 some time in the first 2 weeks of 07 (as well as 292). They will just go on their "crazy subbing machine" again.
But, I too am getting a popup when going to the site. The site is "songset.com", so you can block that. not sure if it will stop the popup though
Looks like ADC's webhosts are strapped for cash so now they have a lot of random popup ads. And with annoying sound, to boot. There's even a java popup that keeps the sound going after you close it
Oh well, at least the site's still up. And yeah, holidays = delays no matter who you are or what you do. Just gotta wait.

This is the EXACT thing i am having happen to me and i also know i have no virus's.
Well thankfully it seems to be over. I'm at the site right now and it loaded the same as it always did.
