while my router is on the first floor all the way on the other side
so i need help increasing the range

Fiddling with the orientation and relative position can help. Also, aftermarket antennas, which range from $5-$10 "passive antenna like you've got now just longer" to $120 things which need a power brick.

Anyways I recommend either moving one of the other to the other side of the house, or put a big hole in the wall and fill it with aluminum foil, just make a strip and place a big long rap in there and then make it stick outta the wall in the entertainment room.
OR move the router to the entertainment room?
FCC = Federal Communications Commission, the American government body responsible for things which broadcast.
Wireless networks suck, and I say that as someone who uses them. Next house, I'm ripping out the damn walls and laying good Ethernet cable.
