I have a quick question regarding Chopper and the 3 rumble ball limit.
We know of course that Chopper can't handle 3 RBs taken within a certain time limit. However (this is pure speculation), what might ensue when he takes any given amount (say 3) at one time?
Would it amplify the effects? Would it result in the same loss of control we saw earlier? Or would they all cancel out and turn Chopper into some potted plant?

maybe by taking 3 at 1 time he might beable to sustain the manster form with some minimal thought processing and concious. ( atleast I hope so, and yes that would be cool to see. :] )

Chopper said it himself, the RB is a powerful drug. If the amount in one is able to shake his powers so much, 3 will likely kill him.
Although he used them all with less than 6 hours, he did wait untill the stronger effect disappeared [sp?].
But, if you say "Have the amount of 1 1/2 or 2" it might be different and give him weird things. Might as well a rushed version of Monster Point with greater risks for him. Even with that in mind, Chopper is a doctor. I'm sure the amount in one RB is the best amount.

I like the deus ex term myself, because isn't that what anime is all about? Having things happen that befit the "good" characters and hurt the "bad" characters.

Because having a blue nose identified him as a mutation? That was essentially the reason his own herd kicked him out. Genetic mutations are typically NOT in the best interest of a species, as most of them are prone to defects that make them more susceptible to predation and disease. Many mutant animals even seem to have a death wish, as per the seven legged hermaphroditic deer that ran under some dude's truck in Wisconsin. It is arguable that if Chopper had been a normal reindeer, he would be limited to the standard three forms–barring that he learned Life Returns like Lucci did.

I've always wondered if the Rumble Balls only effect Chopper, or what if another ability user took one, what would happen? Say if Luffy took one, or is it only functional on fruit-types that have 'transformations'?
Luckett brings up a good point. What would other Zoan users experience under the effects of a rumble ball? Let the speculation commence!

! In Trigun Maximum, Wolfwood is forced to take 3 doses of a metabolism enhancing drug that he uses to regenerate and gain superhuman abilities in order to defeat Livio (who is in his split personality, Razlo). As a result, his heart gives out shortly after the battle ends and Vash buries him.
Basically, Chopper's heart would give out from the forced metabolism increase and he'd die.
